This ending hits me in an incredible way! And the music makes everything so much more exciting. It seems silly, but I always fall into tears with Guile's ending. Lesson of forgiveness and pure love!
Street Fighter 2: William F. Guile Ending 0:00 "Sonic Boom!." Colonel Guile is one of the main characters in the Street Fighter fighting game series. He is a major in the United States Air Force whose goal is finish the criminal organization Shadaloo, while at the same time investigating the whereabouts of his best friend Charlie Nash. I guess Guile’s wife and Trautman have something in common. Both of them managed to stop their men from killing their enemies. Trautman stopping Rambo from killing that dirty cop Teasle and Guiles wife stopping him from killing Bison.
@@Ranuyasha True, but on some games like Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 3 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which are both now non-canon. Charlie Nash should’ve been replaced by Agent Shadow. After six months of being P.O.W.s in the Shadowlaw Prison Jungle of Cambodia, he and Nash managed to break out of their cells and escape from the camps. During their perilous trek to civilization, Nash was killed in a fight by a mysterious caped dictator; as Guile kept fleeing, he was consumed by vengeance against the murderer ever since Nash’s death. After being taken away by a Special Forces Rescue Team in a helicarrier, his team inform a distraught Guile that the man who killed his partner was Shadowlaw’s leader M. Bison and he soon plans on releasing an international “World Warriors” tournament where the greatest martial artists from across the four corners of the Earth will participate, Guile saw this as an opportunity to hunt down Nash’s killer. This is all unfair for Guile want to avenge Charles death over Bison. Unless Bison writes Guile a 40 billion dollar check to spare his forgiveness on Guile is something must be done as an alternative ending.

This always brings me to tears. 😭 I saw on Facebook it was Guile’s birthday and so it brought me back here…
This theme used to be the ringtone for my dad when he called me, I get very emotional when I hear it now.
Shit.....
In the end it was Guile who went home and became a family man.
Rest in peace Charlie... I never forget your glasses
You do know he was in SFV right?
@@nathanmtz9202 He dies there too

He is brought back to life in sfv
And then died all over again.
I love how he just looks shirtless for one scene for no reason
Beautiful theme with a heartfelt emding. It's kinda sad.

This is so heartwarming despite being a 16 bit storyboard.
The best ending of any character in SF2 including all versions of that game.

This made me cry
Guile: Thank you Nash
Don't just be a man...be a family man.

"Are you man enough to fight with me"
It’s a good ending and rip nash
This ending would later suffer from plot holes and bad writing.

Not at all. Bison is a horrible person but that's no good excuse to cross the line especially when you have a family who thought better of you.
@@dnmstarsi What's the point? Bison acts more like a Law Abiding Citizen.

Bison.
