Oh wow, that’s a beautiful wreath! Our Advent wreaths are a little different here in the States. We also have four candles, but we use three purple candles which symbolize prayer, penance and preparation and a pink candle which symbolizes rejoicing. Our candles are also tall taper candles and they sit within the wreath itself, and not in the center of the wreath.
