M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Anand Deverakonda ahead of the release of his Gam Gam Ganesha on May 31st.
We asked him about the movie having resemblance to Swamy Ra Ra, a film of the same genre.
We also asked him if the love track and comedy are dealt carefully so that they do not come in the way of the experience of the Crime Thriller.
Anand also honestly revealed the limitations a small film will have due to the budget and market when asked about the relatively new cast in the film. He also added he would have got bigger leverage if the movie was made after Baby.
We also asked him about the negative feedback his voice being mismatch to the Over-the-top character he plays in the film.
Anand also had an elaborate explanation about his brother Vijay Deverakonda complaining to the police about the alleged orchestrated campaign to kill his credibility and films.
He cited the example of Mahesh Babu's Gunturkaaram being the victim of the same.
We asked him if clickbait thumbnails on TH-cam Public Talks and a section of anti-fans talking ill of a new release is common for every film. Anand Deverakonda, however, partly disagrees to it and came up with an explanation about why they think everything is clearly planned and organized.
He did not answer straight when we asked if they feel this negative campaign is the work of some competitor or anyone in the industry.
