I'm a veteran in this game but I only knew a few of these. The Roman Numerals is perhaps my favorite along with the Unforeseen ability. I knew the numerals but not the ability, I'm sorry to say. Zer0 has always been my top pick for a character even when people said he was the worst character.
Im throwing this out here for those who don't know:. About the rough rider's hidden capacity. Gauge's skill that gives Deathtrap the ability to recharge shields actually (kinda) works on the rough rider. It recharges the shield up to 100, but when Deathtrap stops charging, the shield automatically breaks.
5:19 i looked through the end credits of borderlands 2 for anyone with the initials "WP" and there was exactly one person with those intials, "Wes Parker" who after a google search i found out he was a character artist! its likely either he did some work on the vehicle models, or that one of friends, added that as a little sort of easter egg for themselves. they probably never thought anyone would find it!
Joltz prob knows this one but I bet a lot of you don’t! Apparently during the Wilhelm fight mini badass constructors can spawn if you take to long to kill him. This happened to me for the first time recently and I was baffled 😂
Joltz did you know that if you play as axton and get in the back of a bandit technical, you could press melee and then immediately get out of the car your axe will stay out and in you hand until you melee again. I’m not sure if this still works though
Hey Joltz I would like add one more just in case you didn’t know (but I’m pretty sure you might know lol) In the mission for Dukino, when he’s on his way to the cave, if there is any Elemental Skag in the area and calls for all skags nearby, Dukino will also follow and get an Element as well, that until he goes into the cage
Something I never actually see anyone acknowledge, maybe because its common knowledge or not I don't know, but the Armored Psychos that start to show up in TVHM are actually weak to fire despite being armored. You just have to hit their heads.
Did you know if you are farming savage lee and he spawns in the area behind the fast travel station, he will still spawn in the normal area as well. So technically there are two savage lees. I actually found this out on my own but never really told anybody so idk if anyone else knows this.
Back on Gearbox forums I made a thread for all sorts of BL2 tidbits. One of my own discoveries that I'm the proudest of was realizing that Florentine, and subsequently a ton of other E-techs, can't aggro the fairies in TTAODK forest. Some of them can and there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason for what works and what doesn't. Unfortunately that whole thread is lost to the ages now with the forums gone so I can't go back and see the results of someone else testing a bunch of weapons out for that.
Hey joltz! One thing I did learn from this video before you even got into the top 10, you can transfer the weapon effect from the orc to other guns... I already knew you could do that, since you can do it with basically all of the special weapon effects like that, but I just never put 2 and 2 together for the orc lmao. Thank you for another great video! Also, mega car damage at 3:54, reminded me of running over enemies in bl1!
I have a fact that you’ve yet to cover! In the Tundra Express in the mines where you kill Prospector Zeke, the rock crushers on the conveyor belts deal fire damage to the player and often set the player on fire as a result. Also, Merry Christmas!
Across all the games in most cases, main characters that die during the story don't give you side missions in person. Some do give side missions through bounty boards.
The only one I knew was the floating warning sign. I think it was Mopi that I was watching when he happened to notice it one playthrough. Good times! Weird we’re still finding stuff 10 years later!

Hey Joltz, great content as alwyas! So I have one fact I never see someone talk about. When you play as zero and want to enter te arena of Uranus, just before you drop down, you throw deception. Then drop down and make a hard left and go up te stairs. Somehow the loaders don't spawn in.

Idk if you'd count this fact, but the heli pads around where you get tina's badonkadonks, the helipads surrounding one of them have a increased chance in loot midgets. Ive never seen a video on it but every time im in the area, i make sure to loot the boxes on the 2 helipads. They seem to have a chance simular to the sawtooth cauldron farm but since there isnt as much to farm, you may not get any at all.
So the mission weapon ammo thing, you actually gain ammo whenever you pick up a weapon. Because the mission weapon isn't technically in inventory, when you load your save, the mission adds the weapon in, along with the standard ammo pickup.
Jolts in the first map of the game where you kill knuckle dragger there is a minecraft steak on the blue light of the bunker. Me and my mate found it a couple years back and I don’t know if it’s intentional or not
Fact about the rough rider: If Gaige via deathtrap uses her Buck Up skill as she goes through a door that leads to a new map, he constantly boosts her shield and you can see the rough rider's capacity. Discovered this when using the rough rider with maya to get that sweet speed boost but didn't get it because she had "shield"!
I just passed the vending machine that is smaller than the others and I realized that it is not really smaller if you look near the bottom you can see that it was just in the ground
The smaller vendor may have been to avoid a clipping issue. If it was the same size as the ammo vendor, it looks like it would either clip into the sloped floor to the left of it, or into the other vendor to the right.
I don't know if this has been reported or not, but if you turn Physx off and go to the eridium Blight, you can then use some rock formations near Mal as a ramp and reach his area with a vehicle. You can then run over him and make him fall to the ground or even outside the map. There is another rock formation behind him that doesn't have collisions for vehicles, you can clip through and fall below the map. There are kill-barriers, but you can pretty much explore lots of the eridium blight if you go below the map, but if you go under the terrain/heightmap with a vehicle, you instantly get sent in the air with massive momentum, which is quite fun to watch. Also, the kill-barriers do kill Mal too, but it's very hard to see it with your own eyes.
Have a couple thousand hours as well (PS3) and this was all new, granted i played the first 3 times through not knowing legendary items were farmable. Good stuff chief
The sawblade technical actually has an alt fire if you go into it’s turret and aim, it is completely useless though since it for whatever reason doesn’t level up with you.
Did you know that when you get the key from bad maw, if you stay super close to the spinning wheel on its right side, it will pull you under the map for a second and put you on the left side? Like a little ferris wheel
If you go into you're inventory and switch the equipped gun with a random gun in you're inventory then switch it back it instantly reloads which can be a good glitch in single player
I just downloaded the Handsome Jack collection and after not playing for a few years, I'm all again convinced that Borderlands 2 is one of the best games released in the last 20 years. And the Pre-Sequal is better than 3 by far.
10 years on, and I'm still surprised by this game.. But when I see under/out of the map stuff, like crates and vending machines that can be used.. Does make you wonder what was planned originally, and they just "painted over it" so to speak.. The only one I knew about off this was the dragons numbers for teh level you ar playing, I honestly thought that was common knowledge and didn't think it was a thing. I think even today, if they released even more content for it, be it in the form of headhunters, or just extra missions around the standard game and 5 massive expansions.. They'd still sell, and sell well.. Or even a level editor where we can make our own stages/arenas to challenge ourselves.
One thing that has happened to me twice in the arid nexus maps is that loot midgets (perhaps only the jet loader ones) will get stuck under the map, you can see their dot and hear them but you can't get to them. Maybe their spawn point is just a bit lower in those maps?
Yeah that's happened to me a few times. Notably the cardboard box by Marcus' overturned vending machine: if a jet loader is hiding in that box he'll get stuck under the map. I've tried everything to try to get him out (leading him over to the rocky hillside, trying singularity grenades, etc) but to no avail lol

The only thing I care about in BL2 is that the 4K texture pack and the last DLC are not available on Linux, preventing online multiplayer. The community patch also cannot be applied properly anymore on Linux, so… there's that.
Turns out Axton has a friendly fire glitch too, same as Zer0 but with Nuke Skill Throw Sabre Turrent and hop into the vehicle, been trying to figure out how to do the fake kill skill stacking on both
If death trap has the buck up ability and you're wearing the rough rider shield the shields capacity jumps to 708 on OP10 when death trap hits you with the skill but it only lasts just a second unless you do the glitch where you fast travel while being hit with buck up then the capacity for the rough rider stays
1 thing I discovered during a playthrough the other day, in the boss fight against handsome Jack in the original story, after you beat him he goes into a bubble shield with Lilith and he summons the warrior. While the warrior is out fighting you, you can shoot at jack in the bubble and he would tease you that you can't shoot him😂

i am playing Maya on TVHM (level 54 at the Warrior) and if there is more than one mag of sniper ammo, regardless of how many rounds i’ve fired (even one) all the ammo is retrieved in auto pickup. i fire one round and it picks up ALL the sniper ammo…
On the PS Vita version of BL2, when you activate Zero's deception all the enemies will go invisible instead of going blue, the only thing viable is the red crit spot and a few black textures on very few enemies. It ia very very annoying

Zero unforseen skill has a lil secret ability....if you throw your hologram into a wall the unforseen skill will not explode on the hologram but instead it will explode on you....its like lilith from bl1 Edit: oh and also it wont play the shock particle

Vehicle ramming causes explosion damage. I discovered this by running over a Goliath so fast his helmet popped off

Big RIP today, had my level 57 Sal save data corrupted due to my game crashing. Was in UVHM. A first for me good times

Did you know the skill 'silence the voices' which gives Krieg a 12% chance to hit himself is actually a load of shit?
I knew about half of these. A lot of really cool little secrets in my favorite FPS series still to learn!
The zed vendor in heilos is smaller because the bottom of it clips though the floor. You can see it though the grated floor.
Fun fact: very far underneath bloodshot stronghold there is an untextured cube

Hey if u see this i am a BIG fan i have been watching for 2 years even tho i am only 11 years okd i love borderlands its just such a cool game series and my dad introduced it to me when i was 5 so i have been pkaying it for a while. Zero unforseen skill has a lil secret ability....if you throw your hologram into a wall the unforseen skill will not explode on the hologram but instead it will explode on you....its like lilith from bl1
Edit: oh and also it wont play the shock particle
I`m a rookie and would like to see some "tricks" for VH/TVH I`ve played 1 and 3, but like you say #2 is
by far the most fun! Playing Fallout 4 right now and that's fun also.
