I bought this stove off ebay for $13 usd and I've never used it at full power but I wouldn't suggest using it on cheap mess kit since it will heat up the skillet to bright orange and make it look like it'll melt the skillet but the price and small storage are both a plus in my book

The other stuff I've also had & was great to use worth the £8 paid for few years back, currently retired to the camping box as updated to Titanium cook set.

I much prefer the ones with legs that have a pipe to the canister, much safer in my opinion. I have jet boil which I don't use. One thing I do recommend is to take some gel tablets just in case the cheaper stove does let me down. Not a fan of the type you are showing just feel too easy knock the pot off much like the jetboil. Good review as always.

It takes 0.183 kWh to boil 1liter of water. Since it took 5 minutes we multiply 5 by 12 to make 60 minutes (an hour). Now multply the given 0.183 by 12. This gives you 2.196 kilowatt-hour of power. In other words roughly 2200 watts, assuming it took exactly 5 mins to boil. Since you boiled 800ml it would be closer to 1800watts. For such a small stove thats pretty good

Jumps up and down like that are normal for Amazon. The past year the prices for all these applied branding (like odoland) products have had an upswing in prices and for the most part those upswings are being sustained. That said, the items are good for the price point and their longevity is reasonable.
