One day I decided I wanted to customize my favorite ASMR videos and turn them into distilled, extra-potent ear candy. You know how some ASMR videos are wonderful EXCEPT for just a couple parts where there's loud talking or unfortunate music, or for the fact that they're just a little too short? Well, this is my attempt to maximize the tingles and pay tribute to Lita, an ASMR legend...

Lita was my gateway drug to the world of ASMR
She was most peoples. There was a need in the 2010s for stress relief therapy and because of TH-cam's rise to fame, people sought it out through videos. Unknowingly, there were people willing to fill that void the best they knew how. I'm very grateful for this woman and everyone that uses their time to help people relax.
She’s the Bob Ross of ASMR Massage.

My first ASMR experience. Back then it wasn't called ASMR. There was *The Whispering Community* which was mainly 10 minute whisper rambles (which I loved) and some massage videos like this.
Some of the originals are no longer on TH-cam. I miss them, especially @TheWhisperingVoice

Its ok. I used to do the same thing watching Bob Ross on PBS back in 1990. I couldn't understand why i felt so zoned out.
I began listening to this back in 2009. That's how old this video is, back then you could not find much about a person. When this video came out, I used to watch it on my laptop (mobile phones did not support TH-cam then) to fall asleep.

I had an iPod touch that supported TH-cam in early 2009 but it was archaic compared to mobile TH-cam today lol!

I remember watching Lita when youtube first started. Feels like yesterday.
It is rumored that the woman is still lying there to this very day, in complete relaxation and total bliss.
I remember being in finals in college 12 years ago and searching “soft spoken voices” and this was the first woman that popped up. Little did I know the rabbit hole I’d go down. Love you, Miss Lita. Got me through tough times.
I find this to be the highlight of my day after coming home working as a foreman at the construction site with all the noise going on it's really helps to sleep
Damn... I was at my first job in high school when I discovered Lita, driving an hour to and from... ASMR had no name. I would just search for people painting, people reading, etc. lol Lita got me through some stressful nights...
Hands down, the softest, sweetest, most soothing and relaxing voice in asmr!! What a God given silky smooth voice.

Oh my god, I'm so happy I found this! This video was one of the first things I found that really put the sensation of ASMR on my radar. I had experienced it before, but I never had something concrete like this video that could make me experience it again and again. I was captivated, mystified. This is truly a legendary video!

I remember one of my first exposures to ASMR was a video that cut between this and a Bob Ross episode. At first I was annoyed since I only wanted to listen to this, but then found Bob's sections surprisingly relaxing too. Little did I know.
10 years later this video is still very active in my life lol can’t relax without you Lita!

I remember my first signs of ASMR when I was a kid was when I was watching the antiques road show, especially the pointing bits, specifically with the little finger
I got asmr in elementary school when the room would be so quiet and just the sounds of writing paper on wood and it would be so quiet but the sound would be so defined and give me mad tingles and I never knew it was asmr
My first asmr that I remember, I was watching Teletubies and there was a little girl washing her plastic kitchen toys and the sound of tricking water and plastic swishing was nice 👍🏼

She wasn't even trying. Although when she did decide to make ASMR videos it was never quite as good as this.
You are so right! There was some reason that not knowing how special her voice was the secret to it being so wonderful. Its like she tried too hard once she found out her voice was so naturally wonderful.

Most ASMR and I mean most misses the mark. Mainly because they’re trying to make it happen. ASMR has to be organic. It has to just flow naturally. Most of the time a good mic is actually the problem, not the solution.

I loved WhisperCrystal... I never heard what happened to her. she was just gone.
Everyone talks about how this is where their ASMR journey started....this is where it ended for me. What I mean is, I started watching every other kind of ASMR video out there before stumbling upon Lita. This is 1 of 2 videos I watch every day on TH-cam, Lita's voice is the most pure ASMR out there and I won't go back to other types..

The very first clip of Lita is THE Lita video I watched over and over again when I first started finding ASMR. Started with Lita, then there was auraseer, jnspire, venividivulpes, and others. Legends.
Lita is the one who officially introduced me to both massage therapy and ASMR. I'm so glad that I picked up on both and this has shaped me into a better person.
I used to have ASMR before It was a thing. Certain colors, smells, the sight of someone turning pages in books or magazines, the sight of someone playing with someone else's hair or having someone playing with mine, sellers showing their products on TV (shows about deals and promotions you could get at some random stores with the addresses of the stores).

Automatic sensory meridian response suggests more of an experience rather than something you can "have"...like ...hives, for example. You can have hives, but asmr is an experienced phenomenon. It is something your body does as a reaction to stimulus, not something to be acquired temporarily or long term.

Years and years and years ago...before 2019 I typed in something like "relaxation." I stumbled up on Lita's videos on TH-cam. This was almost...a decade ago or more? And then her videos lead into discovering ASMR. I came in on ASMR in it's very early days. The things they do now were pioneered in those early days.
Lita started the whole ASMR movement. She’s still the gold standard!

Man this brings back memories! Lita was my first online ASMR, but even before that in the mid 90’s before everyone had internet I used to nap to an hour long block of Mary Ann Wilson followed by Bob Ross on PBS.💕 Lita had a foot massage video too that had been done before this one when she didn’t even have a mic on her body that I loved...but this part of this video was my ultimate favorite!! Thanks for looping it, I wish that had been done years ago haha

HOLY SHIT this is the lady that got me into asmr way back in 2015. There was some video where she had asmr in the title and then i went down the rabbit hole from there. I couldn't remember her name though, glad this showed up in my recommended!
