FOR YOUR BACK! I had the same thing where it hurts and you cant sleep! The solution: take like a tennis ball and put it inbetween you and a wall (either lower or top of your back depending on were it hurts) Then you make the ball roll trying to position yourself where it hurts the most and stay in place for like 20 sec. (Do the same for other places where it hurts) It helps releasing the tension in you back muscles (do it several times, it improves pretty fast)
Sciatica pain or nerve pain shooting down your leg is usually correlated with bulged or ruptured discs pressing on a nerve if it doesn’t subside after a while I would get an MRI I had to in college when I got injured rowing and had that same symptom
agreed, im not educated on the matter, but I have heard that bad posture can eventually cause some sciatic-related issues. I would get it looked at as Schnoidle mentioned
You probably pinched a nerve, I would say rest, heat, some pain meds, and some light massaging (use a tennis ball or roller) and light stretching The biggest thing is it will take some time
Your back issue might be a pinched nerve, my dad is actually going through something very similar. Pain started in his leg with shooting pain but stemmed from a pinched nerve in his back.
Look up some stretches for the specific area for your back. Unfortunately you are experiencing the great effects of aging. I hurt my back doing deadlift in my twenties and I’ve mostly recovered but that spot has never been the same. Hopefully once you heal up you’ll be able to pick up some exercises that will help you build some strength and stability. GL thanks for the vid, wish the best for you buddy!
Sounds like you pinched a sciatic nerve. Look up stretches online, I did it a few years back and that’s all the PT told me to do was stretch. Good luck JJ
@@Tilley53 I went to a chiropractor for most of my childhood and teenage years pretty regularly. They are really good at relieving nerve pain and suggesting exercises to strengthen certain tendons and overlooked muscle groups.
Alot of the time with sciatica, its due to muscular impingement especially if thete is no significant trauma like a car accident or scuffed lift in the gym. Sounds like you tweaked a lower back muscle, probably ql, and its inflamed pushing on a nerve. I see yhis all yt he time in the clinic i work at. Stretch and gentle movement, if jot better in a month, go see a physio. Doctors are shit with this sort of stuff.

Yeah as someone who’s had a herniated disc and pinched sciatic nerve for the last almost 10 years it’s def worthwhile to be aware of what’s causing it
I was thinking the same thing. I was dealing with it for 3 years in high school!

For the back, do repetitions of cobra pose where you push with your arms.

DoubleJ 3:04 Go to a chiropractor if you haven’t already, it sounds like a possible pinched nerve.
or better yet, a real doctor
A chiropractor is a good option for pinched nerves. Find a good one, and make an appointment.
I wouldn't trust a chiropractor tbh

Sounds like u pinched a nerve in ur spine... Should probably go to a doctor
Especially if u have shooting pain in ur leg, what if it worsens? Maybe u lose feeling in one leg?
