This was a great "coming of age" movie. It's basically about leaving your childhood life behind to become an adult. That's why the bittersweet moments between the two best friends fit so well. It's basically symbolizing how life moves on, and sometimes separates people that love each other. What's more, people consciously have to make those decisions as they get older to pursue new things. Sometimes you have to sacrifice other things that are important to you, such as quality time with your friends.
They have parents, before the 2000s a lot of people had at least one parent at home but after most of them are working so its pretty common to come home many hours before your parents. I think it was better when my mom was stay at home but having no adult supervision also has benefits for children to develop social skills. One of the reasons I watch this channel is it is a reminder of how greatfull I should be to have grown up in America.
Wow, Lady and Gentleman. I have seen Superbad before, but not from your perspective. Have you guys ever heard of a New York gang odyssey called The Warriors? It's very underrated and it would be interesting to have an Indian take on it.

Seth Rogen and his writing buddy Evan Goldberg went to West Point Grey High School in Vancouver and the other students mentioned by name in the movie like Steve Glanzberg are actual people they went to school with. Obviously the story is fictional, but many of the characters are real. The locations mentioned are real too, even though it wasn’t filmed in Vancouver. Steve Fogel was interviewed for the news when this came out. The real guy. 😂
