Agreed. The effects used in the public demo were really bad and off putting, imo. It looks like a completely different game now. They just gotta keep adding to it. Would love to see better impact effects for shells hitting targets. Better looking sparks, impact holes and decals, track damage etc.

It's good enough. The weird mechanical sound you hear after every cannon shot is the auto-loader bringing a new shell up and into the breech. The game is still in early development and things might change as it goes along.
Probably because this variant is lighter at 37 tons with less armor (according to a quick google search and wikipedia) He is also driving downhill early in the video
Missions with less assets run better. There are only 4 AI enemies in this mission. That is why it's running so smooth here. Other scenarios with several platoons involved will drop my fps to 40, even 30 or 20 when shit is going down. This game hasn't gotten any optimization yet. It doesn't matter how good your PC is right now I guess.
AI needs definite improvement. Right now they act like they are targets in a shooting gallery. Further the optics of M60A3s were far superior to that of the T-72. You wouldn't know that here.
This is an old legacy mission, used as training I believe, to get familiar with the fcs for the T-72. The M60s will not start firing at you until they are inside 2000 meters or closer. And yes, the A3 is superior in other missions and way harder to deal with it than seen here. The AI is still being worked on. Far from done.
