This is my kind of show right here You're out doing yourself!
Fantastic, it was a really fun collection to buy.
Love it when you mix Silver and Bronze items in with the obscure ones....!!
The colors on those Kirby FFs are so vivid. Very nice....!!
While this video is already tremendous, I do love the dollar bin stuff the most. Random indie and tattered low grade stuff is my absolute favorite! But these silver age Marvels are fantastic.
I do love diving into a good dollar bin for sure. I just dont find stuff like this in them haha
very helpful, worth the watch
Fantastic haul, Sean! Love all the Archies and Josies with the horror theme! 😃 👍🏻 So many books I've never seen before. Very enjoyable.
The Josie Horror books are so much fun! And thank you, this was a really fun collection to go through.
ill definitely try that, thanks!
Hi Sean this is absolutely incredible my daughter and I have now starting watching this channel we love it!! Miss u from the other channel hope to see you back there at some stage! Keep up the amazing work
Oh neat, happy you guys are enjoying the comic channel.
Great video, appreciate you sharing it!
Sean Good video!! Really envious of your THOR Stash!!
Thanks a ton, this was super helpful!
Sorry for missing the Livestream. Visiting friends out of town... Visited 2nd & Charles in Harrisburg, PA. Lots of cool stuff, comics sort of underwhelmed....!!
wow, great video. thanks so much
Thanks for sharing this, truly excellent content!
I don't really watch a lot of your content but your comic book knowledge is so awesome maybe I'm just a noob but you really know what your talking about
I appreciate that, I have been collecting for decades and still try to learn new things. And willing to accept I don't know it all so I have room to learn. I do sometimes make mistakes but mistakes are also sometimes the best lessons in life. The best part of having knowledge of things you enjoy, is sharing that knowledge to help others become better collectors.
Fantastic vid!!! Thanks a lot!
Can't wait to start my collection
Great show guys, thank you
Incredible as always. Love your channel man.
Thank you, I appreciate that you enjoy the videos.
Sean, today and tomorrow I am making my debut as a comic book vendor. I want to thank you who have been an inspiration. Day one was a sucess. I also purchased a collection. 😂
Fantastic! Good luck with your endeavor, I hope its super successful. Did you purchase a collection from someone while selling, or at least made the contact then bought it later? That is one of the best reasons to sell comics in person. Was it a comic show or a local flea market?
@@pop-comics Local flea market. It was an old coworker who just wanted to get rid of all the comics he has stored in a wardrobe. We agreed that he would call me to make an arrangement. He is going to drive it home to me as I have no license.
Awesome collection. Love the fantastic four, and the hulk ones. Looks like good grades. Sometimes when I find Marvel Comics from the silver age. It's not always in perfect condition due to how old they are, depending how much it was used also. But you can get lucky to find a bunch in good grades! Nice finds👌
Yeah the grades were fantastic.
The Captain America Annual 4 has an awesome part, Magneto gets his head just crushed by a huge mutant. I Magneto but it was funny to see. lol
@@comicguyrulez i will have to crack it open and check that out.
The Rocky and Bullwinkle cards are sewing/lacing cards. You "sew" along the holes with yarn. I had tons of them back in the day.
I thought it was something like that. Was that to teach kids how to sew, coordination skills?
Little fun one for you, but Spider-Island I LOVE NYC is the 1st appearance of the Spider-Cat! Cheers
Very cool to know. I think a lot of the books that he had just 1-2 of in this collection were key issues.
💥👊💥 BAM!!! 😁 Good show.
Thank you!
Wow great score!
Definitely, sure the keys were plucked, but everything left was in really nice shape.
Wow, you really did great with these.
Definitely, tons of amazing comics.
Impressive pick up !
Definitely.
Kirby finished up FF at 102 and there was a partial art in 108...!!
The artist progression: Kirby then John Romita then John Buscema up until the 130s when ? took over. (I blanked on him, but he was criticized for basically doing Kirby swipes...!!)
Thor 154 is one of my favorite covers
it is a beautiful cover
That Betty and Veronica 104 is supposed have a Beatles appearance.
Very cool, did not know.
Great video .....
Thank you :)
Re: The 25 cent FF 116, was a final twisted trick from Martin Goodman on his way out the door as Publisher. All of the Marvels that month were 25 cent (possibly inducing DC to match with their reprint-filled giants...Next month all of the books DROPPED to 20 cents so Marvel could undersell DC...!!
Bronze age Marvel, my opinion are the best comic books Marvel has ever done. The writing and the art are soooo good.
Bronze is definitely awesome but I love silver age the art is so classic I love it can't beat stanlee jack Kirby silver age
Bronze age Marvels are definitely my favorite Marvel books as well.
Silver Age Marvel is great too!
I'm once again very jealous of all those silver age marvel comics I really enjoy all the Thor ones I have a small stack of those and a bunch of FF comics
The Silver Age Marvel stuff is fantastic and it is kinda hard to track down for a good price, so it does take years to collect it at a good price. That being said its a marathon not a sprint so grabbing a few here and there, eventually you will get there.
Kirby was doing the first 102 issues. Plus an unfinished issue in 108.
I always get it mixed up because Sinot inked Kirby and then the Buscema and Romita covers so they very similar. Not distinctive enough to jump out to me. But I think that is what Marvel wanted at the time. And I am terrible at remembering covers by their numbers haha usually by visual recognition.
Awesome books. House of Mystery Halloween Annual #1 is the 1st iZombie I think.
Yup it is!
Immortal Hulk #2 is the 1st Dr Fate, $$$ worth a few bucks.
Oh Nice! I think when I looked them up #1 and #2 were about the same value. Did not know it was a 1st appearance though.
The ? guy was Rich Buckler...!!
Nice books, after 17 years of collecting, there is only a gew books left I want then I am done collecting.TMNT#1,Planet Comics#1, X-Men#1 cause a Batman#1 1940 is out of my reach.
Can you do a video showing your top 10 comics when you get time?
@ Jason MARVEL 2 ON 1... No you're thinking of ANITA BLAKE.....!!
Any 181 hulk or spiderman 129?
Not in this collection but that is ok, still plenty of amazing books.
What is the name of your comic shop
PopFuzz
Another Awesome Video and Collection! I have the whole run of The Champions. I just sent that Spectacular Spiderman 9 to CGC.
Very cool!
