Great pickups! I'm always curious about how cards like that Baker do where the card is with their old team, and not with their current team where they've had more success. Do buyers care? Do they prefer the newer team image with more success? Rookie or non-rookie probably factors into it too, but curious what you've found on this.
Great question! I’d say for the Rookie year it doesn’t matter which uniform they’re in. Rookie year is gonna sell better no matter what. But after that…I’d say the cards in their new current team in which they’re playing well do sell better 🙌
Cool story about Henry Rodriguez! Too bad on that Baker Mayfield card it looked nice. I feel like 9s are undervalued. 9s should be selling for at least 1.5 times of raw value in my opinion. Sometimes you see 9s sell for less than raw value which I don’t get 🤷🏽♂️. Thanks for sharing as always!

That Nash is sweet! I love the older golds. Do you have any gold beam team relics or autos from 07-08 stadium club? I regret selling a nice psa 8 tmac gold beam team relics. Sold it for only $30 and I saw it raw for $120😢

To your point about faded autos, have you been following this story about people using kurts card care to clean cards and, in the process, damaging the auto but still getting PSA10 grades for the cards? It's crazy!
Yeah, I’ve been following the story, so crazy and makes me sad. That’s kinda why I mentioned the faded auto thing. I think PSA should start factoring in faded autos into the grade they give. This would solve the problem, plus I’ve always hated seeing a PSA 10 card with a faded auto. Never seemed right. I’m not talking about knocking down the bold ones with some streaks missing naturally, I’m just talking about knocking down the faded ones 👍
Always love those Topps Chrome color refractors. On the line going down the back of the St Brown, I got an 8 on a card in my latest NBA order that had that same line. So assuming there was nothing else wrong it looks like they will dock 2 grades for it.

It's a shame that your Mayfield card is dirty. I got a Brandon Miller card that looked great on the front but had weird scratch marks on the back. Virtually ungradable! 😮💨
