The broadway version didn't have the bridge, and while musically and lyrically the bridge wasn't really necessary, I loved seeing the dance quotes from "The Story of Winnie Foster". I don't remember seeing them elsewhere in the show, but I might have forgotten them.
I'll give it a go. *I'm trapped in a house so sad and lonely On a street named Main but you could call it only Is it rude to say I'd volunteer for a day of fun just once a year I'd fly the coop if only I could But I've got a really bad case of being good *Every hum drum sound I've heard for ages There's the ticking clock and the flipping pages Nanas rocker sawing through the floor Every Day just like the one before Tied to a string like a precious pearl It's a pretty tight leash for a really good girl * Good Girl Winnie Foster Every day is the perfect daughter Recites Reads Less Re talker ? But she prays to spend her days Like some lucky girl who's not her *I want a house full of dancing and laughter A place where our melody fills every rafter Day after day we will go on forever But maybe I'm different maybe I never should live like this... live like this * I'd go find trouble if there were some to get in Just a woolen dress for me to sweat in Inside the yard is the golden rule I spend my summers just dreaming of school They lock themselves inside that door is it wrong to wish for something more *Good girl Winnie Foster every day isn't bad at seven Good girl Winnie Foster every day is a well behaved eleven But some days I wanna raise a little something more than heaven Some days I wanna raise a little something more than heaven Just to say, I like the revised version much more. It flows better than this one which has a few more unexpected musical turns. I did my best, a few tiny parts might be off but it's mostly there.
I wish I could've seen this show when it was still going on. Her voice is so amazing.
LOVED the show in Atlanta! It was so good! I hope Tuck Everlasting finds it's way to Broadway!
Yes, fully aware... And if you notice, my comment was from over a year ago.
I saw it! Amazing! Sad it didn’t last longer

What?! I’m so jealous, I love Sarah Charles Lewis so much!
You have a good voice 👬💜💜
Anyone have a good way to change the part about being 11, since I am a teenager?
Sara Messore t
..everyday, always pays attention?
...everyday, just wants to be proven
...only gets what she's given?
Sara Messore You can still sing it even though you’re older than 11 I don’t think anyone will care
Someone have these lyrics?
why are the lyrics different?
Melody Lustig this performance was while the show was still in the works, this was pretty much the first performed draft of the song
It says in the description, this was after the ATL premiere and changes were made when it went to Broadway. Sorry I'm three years late 🙃
Umm is this a diferente version 😂
The music overpowered her too much.
I agree
michelle creber would've been great for this part
Alexis Nightingale omg yessss
the songs okay but if I'm gonna be honest...the book really sucks
