Really interesting video. Love to see the club putting all of this work into developing the person as well as the player- these are still kids and for too long English football has thrown players into first team football before they're mentally and emotionally ready to deal with the bumps and bruises that come with it. Furthermore, only a fraction of these lads will make it but by instilling these metacognitive principles that these young people will need in the outside world is crucial in helping them to make that transition.
It's also telling how much the academy has changed since we got promotion- what Gary Brazil achieved with the resources he had was nothing short of a miracle and hopefully we can continue to grow and develop this side of the club- for a long time it has been by far and away the best part of it.

I wish i could join the academy for the team i dreamed of playing for. But unfortunately being 24 im just to late to apply wish you had over 21 academies available be there in a heart beat!! Keep up the good work YOU REDSSS
