    I think its pretty dope that she’s not gatekeeping. She promotes her own products for those of us who’d rather just buy the product ready made, and she is also sharing just enough about the process to educate, and spur on others who want to make their own natural haircare. She’s also just being transparent about what goes into her haircare which is mad respectable! 🤞🏾

    • @Lashamalaya
      @Lashamalaya ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @that's that Probably because ingredients like shea butter will be heavy for straighter hair. It will weigh it down and be too "greasy". Braids can also break that hair type off because of the tension. Unless done loose. Everything isn't negative, more like educating

    Ends during this process. So , do I think that products grow long hair….Absolutely not, BUT it helps keep the scalp healthy and moisturized so that when the hair is growing it will not break or split this retaining its length.

      @ontheuprizehaircare ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is true! Hair products are specifically designed to help in aiding in what your genetics will already do! Shea butter however has the potential to clog pores because it’s thickness ( it’s a butter) it doesn’t penetrate easily! You need light weight oils that’s closest to our natural scalp sebum(oil)! Also if you fix what’s on the inside of body, diet, lack of vitamins or deficiencies you will see major changes in hair and skin, then you buy correct products to help Maintain.

    Forgive me if someone has mentioned already, but a double handle cheese knife would be perfect for your splitting

    I saw a video about how they make the shae butter by hand in some places. I had no idea how hard it was to get. Seemed like it would take one person like a year just to make this much.

    Would this work well for naturally very curly hair, but with a fine texture? Or should I be looking at a different product?

    I used to work in a really sketchy shea butter warehouse that stuff was so hard to get out of clothes 😢

    So to try to help cut easier. Could get wires from hardware, or music stores or a large cheese cutter. But doing fantastic job.

    I’m half back half Hispanic I can never find anything the work in my hair without it being too greedy or feeling like dried conditioner that’s been sitting out in the open for a month weird description I know but it was the only way to describe it. I’m not sure if I’ll ever find the right products but I’ve been watching you and you product line and I think ima give it a try.
