      @secondhandreactions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We get critiqued for everything. Seriously. Pause more. Pause less. Talk more. Talk less. We’ve realized can’t make everyone happy all the time, so we just gotta do it the way we feel it in the moment. ✌️

    • @susannariera
      @susannariera ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@secondhandreactions not a critic, more a request/advice. With some singers/songs lyrics aren't as important, but that's not the case with Tim's. Specially with his comedy songs lyrics are a huge part, and he sings so damn fast that it's easy to miss something important if you talk over it. But It's your channel, of course you can do whatever suits you better, but people get disappointed when reactors miss good stuff (for instance, I'm not sure she really got the twist with the words). As I said, I wasn't complaining, it wasn't a "how you dare! This is bad!", it clearly was a "please 🙏". 🤷🏻‍♀️

      As a Canadian who was first introduced to gingernuts when working on farms in New Zealand in the 1970s, it might be a little misleading to North Americans to refer to them as "biscuits" or "cookies".
      Which they are...but biting into a gingernut without dunking it into something like a cup of hot tea (of whatever flavour) might lead to serious dental challenges.
      But of course, Tim was totally aware that many might understand this line as a double-entendre...thus emphasizing his point about our knee-jerk reactions to certain words.
