Anyone know how I can get into fire protection Industry. Preferably fire alarm technician, I’ve been applying for so many entry level/apprenticeships. All of them want experience though. How can I get experience if no one gives me the opportunity?
Try finding an internship/apprenticeship with a company, even if they don’t have any positions listed it’s alway good to ask. Also try taking NFPA courses to get certified, most companies see the certification courses as experience. Otherwise just get lucky like I did and find a company willing to teach you everything; Be prepared to start with basic training on things like inspecting, servicing and repairing extinguishers if you do go this route. Good luck!
I dont see Buckeye systems in my area very often, and I've never seen this particular control head before. Can someone talk me through resetting this head when I do an inspection?
Improper coverage over the range. You ran the conduit too close to the ceiling. Mounting the control head onto the cylinder creates servicing problems.
