Absolutely love the fox, it was the only reason I ground the British tech tree. I still using it now in higher tiers and religiously get at least 3 or 4 kills with it at those BR's. Best tactic is take out one of your other vehicles for a while to work out how the game is going to play out. Upon death spawn in your fox and go wide on the map on the opposite side the enemy are pushing spotting enemies as you go. Once you've worked your way round to near their spawn/s you can then start pushing back up behind many of the enemy players, who by this point are mostly camping. On a good run you'll very often take out 6 or 7 tanks! In some cases it's very often enough to change the course of the battle from losing to a win. I usually like to play the fox mid battle because most of the players on the opposite team have already played their fast light vehicles, which are the most dangerous to the fox.
Only performs in hands of experienced players, good thing it's fast, but has the same cannon as the Warrior in 8,3 which has gen 2 thermals and laser rangefinder plus atgm and decent speed.
When that gun was only on the warrior ifv i saw quite a lot of hate for it but now people seem to think it’s good. Maybe people just like it now that it’s on a more mobile chassis/platform
I don't get why people want it up-tiered, at it's BR 90% of it's opponents are heavies, usually German and American. In up-tiers it does better because there's more light tanks and the MBTs have less armor. If you put it to 6.7 it's KDR would go down as both in down-tiers and up-tiers it would face heavier opponents.
Let us British mains be happy for once! I know y'all get annoyed when British mains (people who actually have skills to play that shit tech tree) get a decent tank!
It will be always entertaining destroying top tier vehicles with things that are extremely outdated. only reason it works largely is because the fact this is a game so many of the negative traits these vehicles had don't exist in game. example the fact that in a tank from ww2 the crew was basically blind so they would almost never get a lucky side shot on a leopard 2 without having been seen and engaged first.
