Working at nursing home or care home is a disaster! I am never going back. Colleagues, residents , family of patients were a disaster. I am never looking back.
My first day after working in a nursing home, I quit. Went for a long day, was alone, never took my break. It was the most stress I’ve experienced whiles working.
I totally agree with you. I work in NHS but I did one shift in a nursing home through an agency and I didn't like it. Since then, I've refused to pick up their calls cuz they keep calling me for shifts. No one wants to work there.
Hello Grace, please are u already in UK? If you are already in UK, at least you should have been signed off for IV medication, oral medication, catheterization, how to use infusion pumps, blood glucose monitoring
