There's also a bit of Shinra's theme in this. I would love to see more Remake/Rebirth themes like Reno/Rude or even some songs from the Yuffie Intermission songs like The Runaround
I'm surprised no one mentioned the "You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet" References throughout the song, they're actually pretty clear to me. I mean, if we look at where the fight happens its pretty fitting, as well as the occasional Shinra theme. It's so cool to hear these more or less clashing references, describing the story that surrounds this battle
Oh that's what that song is called, I was hearing that and thinking "oh that part reminds me of the midgar theme in remake" but I think that theme also uses that song as a reference. Thank you for identifying that for me :D
@@CecilHarvey93 you're welcome, I know that feeling :'D I had a similar thing during the Gongaga reactor scene, I was like "wtf, why is there Sephiroth's theme mixed in?!" until I realized through a YT video that it's literally a new version of the old "Attack on Weapon" theme from the original (that already had that sephiroth motif in it) :D
You can hear "Lifestream," "You Can Hear the Planet Crying" & "Shinra Theme" in this track. Also as you said, there are bits of reference to "Let the Battle Begins" & "Those Chosen By the Planet." Real Sephiroth's theme, not One Winged Angel which is his battle theme. The parts you are refering to are from Those Chosen by The Planet which OWA just references. But the tracks I mentioned previously literally have their parts included. Especially the first two. All of these have their melodies included. But sadly, this is not the full track. The recording you were listening to wasn't from the official OST but gameplay, so it cut too quickly.
Can you please give timecodes for ost version (or in this video) when you can hear "Lifestream," and "Shinra Theme"? I for the life of me cannot hear. I can hear "Let the Battle Begins" "Those Chosen By the Planet" in the second phase, also "You Can Hear the Planet Crying" by the end, but those two..... Thank you in advance!
BRO when this popped up on my feed I nearly spit out my drink! Gonna watch immediately! The part at 6:20 sounds like the Gamecube Intro sdfsfsdafsa at 10:10 to my ears the background cellos (?) play the "veni veni venias" phrase from One winged angel
Yesss I've been waiting for Davi to react to FF7 Rebirth music! This theme is perfect for the Demon Gate battle because during the fight the walls close in on you, and eventually another copy of the boss spawns behind you, so you feel very vulnerable and on edge, like you are running out of time -- frantic. It's an incredible theme. Thanks for analyzing Davi!
Demon Gate is a banger. Of the new songs to the series, it definitely stands out. 'Lets go, Mt. Corel!' is another really good one. Would be awesome if you gave that a listen too!'
So at 10:00, you say something about there being a feeling of Sephiroth. It's the violas playing the line from the original One Winged Angel when the choir sings, "Veni veni venias. No me more facias". Also, the Shinra motif doesn't make sense to me making an appearance during a battle that doesn't have anything to do with Shinra.
Just as a player, your assessment of the song really fits well with the boss fight. You're trapped in a room with this boss. Then in a later phase of the fight you become surrounded by two and they inch closer to you. It feels very stressful lol. My only complaint about this song, is that in the game there's talking going on to inform you of how to beat the boss, plus battle sound effects. So it's hard to hear the song fully. I didn't appreciate this song as much until I got the sound track.
5:50 I can't find it right now but I am CERTAIN this was a track from the original FF7 which I can't find. I'm sure it was an escape theme or something?
This track is a surprise pearl in the game. I'm so ashamed that the version you listened to has been cut in some points, especially the final rush! Argh!
I really liked the video, very cool, though I find the track weird, probably cause I'm not used to this type of music. (Btw, why is my emoji button is in black circle? Idk and I just noticed lol) Either way, that's it. ¡Adiós!
I would enjoy a reaction to the final boss theme. Not necessarily the final final sephiroth one winged angel stuff. But more the stuff that comes before it.
Ahh, it happened again. It's a recording of the track that switches from phase 1 to phase 2 really early so you didn't get to hear a part of the song
Yeah its hard to find good covers since SE refuses to put the official OST up anywhere.
It doesnt use the full ending of phase 3 either.
Shame!

The runaround is sooo good, problem is which part to pick? Don’t think he’d do a video on all of them haha

I literally paused the video at the end and went "oh, it's playing that one song!" And sang it, but I didn't know what it was called lmao

Masterpiece of a track! I love how Cloud is laughing during the fight as well. FF7R is a masterpiece!

Unfortunately since the soundtrack isnt out on spotify or anything there seem to be incomplete versions floating around of songs

Davi, the Jenova tracks in Rebirth are a MUST HEAR. They are too good
You HAVE to do more FF7 Rebirth stuff. One of the greatest soundtracks ever made. Truly masterful
Listen to the music of Dragon Quest too!!!
Nobuo Uematsu has grown up receiving comments from Koichi Sugiyama
Instability is also very correct because the walls are slowly coming at you to crush you
I had the same reaction at 6:22 and 6:43, hahahaha! This music is just beyond epic
Aerith's theme in Jenova Lifeclinger is the next ff7 rebirth song that needs to be done. It's so good.
You were hearing some shinra themes in there too
Love your energy

Finallly!! more rebirth! more people have to react to it especially the jenova themes

Theres a reference to city of the ancients somewhere

That's so sad, that's not the full version.
I belive the type of beat measure is called 7/8 and the origin should be Hungary. Just a thing i learned from a history teacher recently...
Do more final fantasy 7!!
Jenova lifeclinger theme please
Would you please consider covering "The Great Old Enemy" by Piotr Musiał, from the Frostpunk 2 soundtrack?
Gilgamesh theme when 👀
Plese react to innocence glitched from the binding of isaac
I recommend you listen to the soundtrack of human fall flat
Day 6 of asking for deadbolt
