Great video. I love the very genuine enthusiasm I can tell you have at how well the print turned out. =] I've been printing with NinjaFlex for almost 6 years and it's my favorite material, but now I'm super excited to try out Chinchilla!
5:48 soft but how much last if is so soft? need some solid material in contact with ground or will mess it in minutes. otherwise i can make flaps from silicone.
Nicely printed…. Lol you kept talking about how squishy and cushioned the sole was and how that’s an improvement. Comfortable is fine an dandy until you step on a nail with your air cushion
That is so flipping absolutely 😳😳😬😬. I'm beyond impressed with that filament and your skill! Your channel is bound for 100's of 1,000s of views. You 3d scanned/model that with ease it seemed. I have a galaxy s20 ultra but have yet to get a good scan. None of the apps I've tried seem at all down for the task and most have not offered a sit-n-spin/turn table option of capture. Err Well I'll be ordering a kilo of Chin-Chilla. First soft to the touch filament I've seen!
Dang that looks pretty. This would be perfect for dual extrusion for pla supports. World's most expensive flip flops! Also now I want 3d printed flip flops lol
in my experience the answer is to add slowness to everything slow everything down and itll stop bundling up after feed gears even if your using direct drive the distance between feed gears and heated nozzle is still enough to cause jams depending on how its made
What filament is best for grip and flex? say if you wanted to make tires for RC car, or if you wanted to make soft squishy feet for a 3d printer? I am using Priline that is 95A, but its not grippy, and it's only semi flexible. I saw someone use 85A that stretched and gripped like silicone or something similar to that texture, but not many affordable options out there that are 85A.
I live in Alaska and wear sandals with wool socks 80% of the time. It's really not that hard to stay out of deep snow, or to knock the snow out at the door.
@@conwaytomlinson277 So? That makes it a good practice? All the decades of enclosed foot wear is irrelevant? I find it hard to take serious a recommendation from such.

Thank you!! It's great stuff!

What kind of infill?
Thanks for sharing. I'm curious, what scanning software were you using with your iPad?
Structure Scanner!

If you're wearing flip flops in environments where you're gonna step on a nail you're doing it wrong.
was thinking so too, but you could easily print in place a hard insert on the bottom. then again, i mean, these aren't work boots.
It got shipped in makersboxs a month or 2 ago. Very hard to print on an ender with a microswiss dd. Also it felt just odd
Material info and printer setting would be appreciated

That's awesome...what attachment is on that ipad?
What printer did you use?
Hi bro, what kind of software for 3d scanning?
Skin safe and "they may regret this." Immediately thought Fleshlight.
the music is too loud compared to your voice
not cost effective though at $95 kg

This is exactly what I thought this filament would be good for. Great video.
Wait... backwards...
I spent to much of my life trying to figure this out
How are the flipflops doing today? Are you still using them?
that is just awesome
How is holding up after 1 year?
Footlocker: Delet this
Great video man you should keep making content
cretty pool
I would love to print a pair myself. Could you make the files available?
I had been hoping they had been made available
So Cool !
Haha a flip flop? Notoriously one of the cheapest footwear to purchase printed out of a quite expensive material. The things we do for science 😂
Thank you for the video. Any changes needed for the Artillery Sidewinder's extruder?
Nothing!
I'll be impressed if you can print your own thong...... DO IT !!!
Would you mind posting your print settings? I cannot get this stuff to feed through my MK3s properly.
We use 230 nozzle and 50 bed, similar settings to TPU. All printers need their own fine tuning. Is it direct drive?

Awesome job! Can you tell me what specs did you used in slicer please? Or what do you recommend. 😊
HOW LONG DID THEY LAST?
Now just need to invert it to print the other one
dislike for flip flops in snow
This is dope
Not enough sense to get out of the rain goes right up there with wearing flipflops in the snow.
