This lecture takes a look at the various fungal infections that humans can acquire. Some are true pathogens like histoplasma and dermatophytes affecting healthy individuals. While others can be opportunistic like Candida and Pneumocystis affecting those that are immunocompromised.

Not sure what you mean by the question but to be a fungal disease is any disease that is caused by a fungal cell either found in the lungs or the skin or surrounding tissues. Typically they are spread by spores infecting a wound or breathe into the lungs which leads to the conversion to a vegetative cell (hyphae) which can grow and spread through surrounding tissues. Some disease is caused by the toxins that are produced or due to the immune response to the infection itself. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Hello what is the type of parasite or fungi infection can cause an organism that can absorbe in and take form in or under skin. The shape would resemble the shape of an S in a human host. Also seems it can morph or shape into meats, and vegetables and cause simular reaction.
