  • Here we have a compilation video of the 1996 Nova Bus RTS T80-206 Bus units from MTA New York City Bus and the MTA Bus Company. The videos show when these RTS were more slightly more common to see than these days in 2017. At the time of this video's upload, there are 20 1996 RTS units with 14 being at JFK and 6 at LaGuardia. This is just a look at when the buses were still in depots like East New York and Jamaica, with clips of units at the MTA Bus Company taken in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. I hope you enjoyed this video.
The 1996 Nova Bus RTS T80-206 units are numbered 8750-9349, with the specs being a Detroit Diesel Series 50 DDEC Engine with an Allison VR-731 ATEC Transmission. Currently, these are New York City's oldest active buses with 20 buses working at the MTA Bus Company in Queens. Its funny how more of these units outlasted the RTS 9350-9699 batch of 1997-1998, our earliest New Flyer Articulated units, some Motor Coach express units, and a couple of more units that came in after the 1996 units were brought in.
Photos and Videos were taken between Early 2013 and Late 2015.

How come when they get a fresh coat of paint, they don't get white backs? Some get to keep it like 9005 at 8:38.
