Hello. Im having some sort of bug with the current system. I am part of a guild yet the guild channel does not show in the channel display area. Any tips on how I can fix that?
Ah, that's curious. To clarify, do you mean you don't see the guild channel in the chat box? Or you don't see an option to enable it? Normally, you would click the up arrow in the chat window and choose *Advanced* . Then in that advanced chat settings, you can see a list of all tabs you have (on the left-hand side), and a list of all available channels on the right. You _could_ choose have some channels appear on all tabs, or others (like languages you don't speak) might not be turned on for any of your tabs. In that list of available channels on the right-hand side of the advanced chat settings, the *Guild* channel may only appear while you are currently in a guild. But you mentioned that you're in a guild, so it should be selectable there. The key here is that the guild channel might not be turned on on your *General* tab, by default. So if you select the *General* tab in those settings, and then click to check/select the *Guild* channel on the right-hand side, it will start appearing on your *General* tab right away. However, if you're currently in a guild and you don't see the *Guild* channel listed in the right-hand list at all, that seems like it might be a bug. In that case, I'd try clicking the *Settings* button on the main launcher window (if you're on desktop) and choose to *Repair* the client. I'm guessing it won't help, but it's worth a try. The next step would be to check the forums at albiononline.com and see if any other players have run into this issue and what solutions they may have found. Lastly, you can also email support@albiononline.com for help, but it's likely to take them a week or more to get back to you.
It's strange in the way that I know that the guild channel should automatically turn on when you join a guild and automatically add itself to the channel list, which it doesn't seem to want to do. I've gone through all the settings possible (BTW I do play the mobile version) and reset them all to original formats and even manually turned the certain unresponsive channels on but have had no luck with solving the problem. I've even went through the Hassel of recreating my character to try solving this problem but not even that worked. I haven't tried to reinstall the game yet and I don't know if there is a repair button for mobile edition. I'll look for one but probably won't find it. I've never had this problem before on old characters which makes this even more confusing to me.
@@Romkiger Yeah that's very odd. I'm trying to think of anything that would stop you from seeing the guild channel in the settings other than not being in a guild, but I'm striking out. I'll try pinging some of my associates on the MOD team and see if they have heard of this.
