I've learned to comment after watching the whole video now(hardly ever comment anywhere)... he admitted to being a scammer so that answers why he was so defensive and aggressive lol
Harrison I'm so glad somebody with a platform like you is putting this out there because this guy is pulling a scam it's so obvious I've seen this video a couple weeks ago and it's so blatantly obvious that the guy is just using the excuse that he took them and left to cover himself but that kid should of checked them right in front of him...still people like this need to be put on blast so the sneaker community knows who he is and what he is trying to do to people
Obviously the seller is a scumbag but unfortunately hes right...once you leave the transaction is over. But like you said, buying something @ 50% market value is already a HUGE red flag...cant give anyone youndont know benefit of the doubt
What he should've done is gone to the booth, asked to check the shoes, LEFT the shoes there while the checkcheck app is doing it's thing, and made a decision from there. Not defending the guy, cause it's people like him that give black and mixed heritage men (myself included) a bad name, but at the same time the kid did set himself up for it.
You're forgetting the main point, though, the guy is SELLING FAKES SHOES AS REAL ONES AT AN OFFICIAL SNEAKERS EVENT, that's the only thing that really matters in this particular case. Yes, the seller was dumb and that's why he lost his money. BUT, the main point to concentrate and work on NOW is the one I just mentioned above, period.
When a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Bottom line. Scammers work off people thinking they’ve got a good deal you can’t find elsewhere. Also, do everything on the spot, never walk away and come back. He should be banned from all future SneakerCons. What a disgusting creature. Thanks for making this video, glad his face wasn’t blurred out, cos he deserves to be exposed. His reputation is worth $1000 😂
They could easily bring fakes in at some point. The only thing they could do is make every pair of shoes go through verification before money changes hands. If the shoes get verified the buyer pays for the verification and if the shoe doesn’t verify than the buyer pays the cost of the verification.
Shout out to Harrison Nevel for 2 things...u have a big platform n shout outs for covering this. And 2...I dont like a lot of sneaker youtubers and almost ALL have had negative things said about them with some proof behind it. U r the one guy that I consistently like, I NEVER hear a negative word about, you keep it about the culture, and are always respectful n not negative...like here Ur not even really BASHING this scammer guy....just reacting and letting us react. I respect that. Thats good content creation with out taking easy routes. Keep it up👍🏻💯
I’m still trying to understand why the buyer couldn’t check check the pairs if it legit takes 15 mins or less if you pay the highest check check fee, rather lose 50$ on check checks than 1k$
The guy stated they looked iffy. And he stated the seller said he could come back if anything was wrong with the pair. Guess the camera made him aware not to slip up
He can be reported for selling “counterfeit goods” for sure because if he’s selling fakes, the government should go after him and investigate his “other stores” and his “real shoes” and all the money and products can be definitely seized if all of his items are “authentic”.
Love that you talked about this and that he’s getting exposed for what he did. It’s not right to be doing things like this and I’m glad that DB stepped in to help get this out and you had a reaction to it. Keep doing your thing Harrison and keep being a positive influence to many that look up to you in this community🤎✊🏽🔥.
SneakerCon should ban him from all future events & with any luck word gets out to all similar sneaker event organisers & they ban him too! He’ll still do his shit on social media if people aren’t aware of him but if enough bad publicity gets out there about this scumbag then eventually it should affect the way he does business. Edit: just seen the end of the video & seen that he’s been banned from events.
Here an idea and its a risky one but why not have resellers put down a security deposit with the amount being 70-90% of the total cost of all the shoes they are selling(market value) and if things like this happen, the buyer can get their money back. Another thing is have a way for sellers to know if a shoe someone is legit checking is actually the shoe they’re selling, whether it be having a staff member escort the buyer to a legit checking booth or a sticker that they place on the box to indicate its their pair.
While I do agree the buyer probably did get scam, the buyer should have waited. I’d rather wait an hour than lose $1000, after he paid and left it was obvious he was going to deny it and turn it into a he said she said.
But honestly he took the shoes and left and came back 1 hour later. There is no store in America that sells used shoes or new shoes where u can leave come back and get a refund . How tf do anyone know he didn’t swap them and come back. Mostly he didn’t but people do. It’s your responsibility to check them nobody else’s. I wouldn’t have gave it back either.
Is the guy a scammer? Sure but at the same time the transaction was over once he checked the pairs and said they were good. Dude told him to check them at the table before leaving or just wait for eBay. He didn’t want to do that.
Yeah he is a scammer he said I don’t sell fakes more than once. So you should be able to trust someone doing business at an event. I own a business I couldn’t imagine ever doing anything like this. You gotta hold people accountable or they will just keep doing it. And he’s got caught serval times with his other stores and admitted to it during the phone call. This is the problem with this country now a days people can do illegal shit and suffer no consequences. People defending this makes absolutely zero sense unless you also do it.
Good thing now is through Dp vid and through harrion’s vid now people can notice this person at booths and know he scams even if some of his pairs are real no money from sneaker reselling from him. Guy gotta get his lazy scammer ass out of his chair and get a job now
If the guy buying the shoes is a sneaker reseller/content creator, etc. you should know how to legit check or at least use the authentication apps if the shoes feel/look off. The fact that he didn't sus any of that out is kind of his bad. The seller in this case really should be respectful and give back the money but you later find out the dude sells fakes on purpose so I can't blame the scammer if that's what he does. Be aware and don't get scammed rather than blindly trusting some random person you don't know. Just cause he got a table at Sneakercon don't mean he got legit shoes
ok first the shoes themselves have a barcode skew inside the shoe that matches the skew number on box as a seller u should have inventory of your product and the skew is how u keep track of what u have ...... my point is how is he gonna swap shoes and also still MATCH THE SWEW? how am I the ONLY person that can catch this
ALL OF THIS MONEY BEING MADE AT THE EVENT. The event organizers need to walk the tables and *LEGIT check for the customers that are coming into the event. Yeah ok, some guy got in and setup some fakes.. you caught him. ok.. good job. You need to point the blame at the Gotsole or any of these "sneaker convention orgainzers to be AUTHENTICATING their vendors"
i feel like ebay of all sneaker events should be there early before any of the vendors arrive , to avoid such problems it gives people jobs to do and removes problems like these. not blaming , just thinking ahead.
u should have to show sneaker con a skew sheet of your whole inventory this way what each seller is selling is proved to be his and it also protects the buyer if a pair isn't in the sellers skew list then money back GARENTEED
To be fair it sucks that he was scammed but why would he buy the shoes BEFORE putting them through any app! He should’ve left the shoes there while they were going through check check to avoid this.
Appreciate you pushing this out there- let’s get this guy out the game for good
No problem. Glad I could help
@@mogar1353😂
Ik that store in Illinois ‼️‼️‼️ my friend has bought shoes from there
Live 2 mins away from it
@@tskiinvictus6957 yo friend bought a counterfeit product
If they were real he shouldn't have a problem giving his money back and selling them to someone else🤷♂️
Why would he do that lol? There sold already, waste of time
Yup so true I was going to say the same thing
Not if they "came back as fakes"
I've learned to comment after watching the whole video now(hardly ever comment anywhere)... he admitted to being a scammer so that answers why he was so defensive and aggressive lol
Literally
He started packing cause they said they was gonna check all his shoes. He was scared cus he knows all his shit was fakes
That a fact he paid for the table he would not be leaving if they was not fakes said this long time ago when I first seen this awhile back on shorts
Wow your English is horrible.@@DaveMckinney-hb8sk

Fire vid, i love how you are supporting other people in the community and helping out… props to you Harrison!!
My point is exactly, sounds to good to be true and if you feel like they ain’t real, why drop so much damn money.
Facts...why leave the booth. Why buy them??? Dudes def a scammer but I dono why u gave him that excuse
You're forgetting the main point, though, the guy is SELLING FAKES SHOES AS REAL ONES AT AN OFFICIAL SNEAKERS EVENT, that's the only thing that really matters in this particular case.
Yes, the seller was dumb and that's why he lost his money.

This pissed me off so much, dude is a no life and needs to be banned
I would’ve lost more than that 1000 lol cuz him acting crazy like that, I would’ve dragged him over that table and then had to bond out lol
I think the best way to avoid the scenario is have them legit checked before handing the money over/exchanging goods.
An extra 2 million people jumping in to stop this guy would help. Let’s get this scammer shut down for good. Make this go ultra viral!
Honestly man sneaker con employees should start going to the set ups and checking them to make sure nobody is selling fakes.
They could easily bring fakes in at some point. The only thing they could do is make every pair of shoes go through verification before money changes hands. If the shoes get verified the buyer pays for the verification and if the shoe doesn’t verify than the buyer pays the cost of the verification.
The real lesson should be don’t spend a $1000 on shoes.
Facts
Miss your old eBay mystery box videos should start doing them again to see how many people are still trying to scam people through eBay doing them
Good look getting on this. Exposes an issue as well as promotes your biggest sponsor. W Harrison
I was trying to see both perspectives but his attitude when they came back and he was packing gave him away. Bro is a scammer.
Shout out to Harrison Nevel for 2 things...u have a big platform n shout outs for covering this. They should be banned and not allowed at these events. I also believe not anybody should be allowed in the doors to be honest.
Facts i feel like only influencers and people close to sneakercon should have tables tbh
I think sneaker events need to spot check shoes from sellers unless they are creditable.
I’m still trying to understand why the buyer couldn’t check check the pairs if it legit takes 15 mins or less if you pay the highest check check fee, rather lose 50$ on check checks than 1k$
Granted, the guy is a scammer but shouldn’t he have known with the price? Also, he shouldn’t have purchased them before legit checking.
The guy stated they looked iffy. And he stated the seller said he could come back if anything was wrong with the pair. Guess the camera made him aware not to slip up
He can be reported for selling “counterfeit goods” for sure because if he’s selling fakes, the government should go after him and investigate his “other stores” and his “real shoes” and all the money and products can be definitely seized if all of his items are “authentic”.
i mean who buys first and checks after? clowns on both sides for real
I saw the DP sneak video a while back and the scammer makes me so mad 💀
Same lmaoo
It’s the wild Wild West at those sneaker conventions. I wouldn’t buy anything too expensive there unless it’s from somewhere reputable
nice one for bringing this to everyones attention harrison
Did the guy just not even look at the shoes before he bought them?? Smfh
why did he buy if he thought they were bad?
The one thing people really have to understand in the scenario is the legality of the situation. At the end of the day it’s got a hold up in court.
Get ‘em, Harry!!! 💪🏼😤
Love that you talked about this and that he’s getting exposed for what he did. i love that energie " get it back in blood"
Why did they open up the event without EBay there? That’s not good for buyers who need verification.
Welcome to the real world. Don't spend 1k on sneakers, if a deal seems to good to be true it probably is.
If you're selling fakes there is a market for people who truly dont care but you have to let them make that decision and not lie. That's dirty!
SneakerCon should ban him from all future events & with any luck word gets out to all similar sneaker event organisers & they ban him too!
He’ll still do his shit on social media if people aren’t aware of him but if enough bad publicity gets out there about this scumbag then eventually it should affect the way he does business.

All shoes should have to be tagged like StockX does so it can be tracked that they are actually the same shoes.
Here an idea and its a risky one but why not have resellers put down a security deposit with the amount being 70-90% of the total cost of all the shoes they are selling(market value) and if things like this happen, the buyer can get their money back. Someone from alabama had scammed me like 2 years for some off white dunks and he had a store in alabama and didnt want to refund me
Handmade boots start at about $500.00. I am sure if you just wanted shoes they would be even cheaper.
How can plastic shoes cost so much?

@@rileyvanevenhoven6974no one is defending him. He’s indeed wrong for scamming. idk if you know bud this country was built on illegal shit
Resellers should be offering a higher standard of customer service reselling items.
Should have taken one each of the pairs checked before paying. There would be no problem if they are legit.
I own two fakes just because I want to wear them but when you start selling them that’s an issue
Yooo, i love your videos bro
Awesome video 💯
Well he shouldn’t of paid for the shoes before checking them. Life lesson
Usually at these events though people are cool and will give you money back if something goes wrong this dude is just dumb🤣
Gullible
No surprise it's to be expected when it comes to scumbags
Good thing now is through Dp vid and through harrion’s vid now people can notice this person at booths and know he scams even if some of his pairs are real no money from sneaker reselling from him. Guy gotta get his lazy scammer ass out of his chair and get a job now
Damn what a bum. Criminal mindset right there. He knows exactly what he can get away with. They always do.
See this is the thing I have fakes but I would never sell fakes to take advantage of people that don't know this is disgusting
SneakerCon was pretty worthless in this situation.
w video thanks for helping dp blow this video up
Sneakercon should of done more

He left cause he had more fakes
That sucks. Makes you wonder who else has or does this at those events. Fir sure not the first nor the last but the first to escalade virally.
I've never had the chance to go to any sneaker con i have inly about 4 pairs of shoes
Thanks for pushing out the sneaker content Harrison❤
He has a shoe store that sells fakes too which is crazy 🤣🤣
isnt there cameras for proof??
Congrats on 2 mill Harrison!
great video keep up these fire videos

I heard that guy selling fakes actually suffered from a stroke so karma got him ❤
Look who you’re dealing with, that should be self explanatory…

Man that’s crazy
