Awesome hunt. Congrats. Heading to Nebraska Saturday to try and get my wife her first archery turkey. Hoping we can get on a flock like that. Been trying to get her an archery bird for about 5 years now. Got my like and subscription and got me fired up. Thanks again.
I've harvested birds around red willow reservoir and over around waunetta before. But we've tried several different public area's over the last 5 years trying to get my wife an archery bird and just haven't had much luck. But we're gonna keep trying. She really wants to try up around Fort Robinson and the Chadron area to start the hunt off. Where we end up is anybody's guess. Whatever I have to do to get her a bird is all I'm focused on this year.
Nice! We don’t have a lot of experience with public land turkey hunting. Red willow isn’t far from one of our deer hunting spots. Lots of big public land around the grasslands area. I’m not sure what the turkey hunting is like up there. Hope you guys find some!
