This has to be it, one very old version of the story involves someone laying on a bed of roses and being disturbed by one of the petals being folded, so that explains the rose on the soap, and the story occurs on a stormy night, hence the black/grey frosting!. I would guess it's a fairytale theme, based on the hint maybe a dark fairytale theme?
I’m getting a “Princess and the Pea” vibe from the soap. Multiple layers with silky looks to represent the many mattresses the princess had, and the flowers and golden hearts to represent the princess and the green pearl to represent the pea. 🤷♀️ that’s all I could think of
The best part of the Secret Soap Series is how much fun Katie has doing it. She sounds like she’s having the time of her life. 😂😂😂 The bottom of the soap when she cut it immediately gave my Avatar: The Last Airbender vibes, with a color for all four nations, but I can’t off the top of my head see where green balls, roses and hearts would come into play.

I feel like there’s a lot of Alice in Wonderland vibes with this soap. The layers made me think of the start - yellow for the sun that made her sleepy, blue for the river, green for grass, brown for underground - the black could be the darkness of the rabbit hole and the hearts and roses link to later parts of the story with the Queen of Hearts and her painted roses. I’m just not sure where the green gumball would fit in. The clue at the end works for Alice too though, with the forest and the tea party. I feel like either the whole series could be Alice themed, or it could just be a general children’s stories theme and just this first soap is Alice in Wonderland. This was my first Royalty Soap. I was so excited to finally get one before they are all gone. It lasts for a very long time, it's beautiful, and it smells divine!
The soap together with the hint (and with the second video I must admit) reminds me sooooo much of Coraline! This soap is about her tea scene, is all there, Coraline's yellow coat, the ladies hair and dresses colors and even the little flowers they have in their hairs!! You are amazing 😍 looking forward what will come next

Famous writers, This one is Jane Austen? Pea soup was an Austen family favorite recipe. Jane Asten's Emma is about a brat with a heart of gold and I remember in her Pride and Prejudice soap she talked about the roses at Pemberly Manor and the tea fits with it all. Lol, ok I am done guessing.
Theme: Either Tim Burton movies or Johnny Depp Characters This Soap: Burton's Alice in Wonderland or Depp's Mad Hatter in that movie. It follows the general color scheme and things like the rose and heart make sense given the universe of the story. I had a hard time deciding between the two because Depp is in a lot of iconic Burton movies such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissor Hands, and Sweeney Todd to name a few, but Depp has also been Captain Jack Sparrow and CryBaby which could be fun soaps. That being said, some non-depp Burton movies like Beetlejuice and James and the Giant Peach could be fun soaps too. So Tricky!

Okay this is really a stretch but Agatha Christie mysteries? Here’s my logic: the ending clues are dark and give me a “mysterious” vibe. The first soap is from the book “The Body in the Library” the introduction from the book talks about Mrs. Bantry dreaming that her sweet peas won a flower contest (hence the pea and the rose) and shes waiting for tea to be brought to her (clue at the end). The second book is “Crooked House” because the ending house was the same as the cover of this book. This is definitely a stretch, and I’ve never read either of these books, but I’m trying to think out of the box because I don’t think it’s something as well known as Nightmare Before Christmas or Princess and the Pea because those are so obvious 🤔🤔

The original stories behind many disney movies are violent and scary and far from what they became after Disney Studios took them and sprinkled them with pixie dust and sugar. The theme could also be C.S Lewis solo. He was known to be the type of person to stay in his own room and shot the door to the world, until he married at a very late age
I feel like this is a classic story collection for bedtime collection. So the color layers would be the blankets in princess and the pea which would explain the green embed on top Another thought I had was sort of a Victorian feel or a theme that covers multiple centuries going with different color plates and accessories that might fit in with that era. Like maybe Soap Thru the Ages or something of that sort.

This is the first secret soap series I’m here from the beginning of!! Is the theme Shakespearean plays? This soap gives me a Midsummer Nights Dream vibes a little bit. The four layers are the four Athenians, the black top is the fog, the flower is the flower that causes the love spell, the love spell is the gold heart. If the fragrance was Loving Spell that would be pretty funny XD The hint reminds me of the fog that Goodfellow makes to confuse everyone and make them sleep from exhaustion.

Disney without the “disneyfication” - that is: soaps based on the original stories/fairytales by famous author’s such as Hans Christian Anderson, The brothers Grimm, Lewis Caroll, C.S Lewis. The original stories behind many disney movies are violent and scary and far from what they became after Disney Studios took them and sprinkled them with pixie dust and sugar.
The theme could also be C.S Lewis solo. He was known to be the type of person to stay in his own room and shot the door to the world, until he married at a very late age

I feel like this is a classic story collection for bedtime collection. So the color layers would be the blankets in princess and the pea which would explain the green embed on top
Another thought I had was sort of a Victorian feel or a theme that covers multiple centuries going with different color plates and accessories that might fit in with that era. Like maybe Soap Thru the Ages or something of that sort.

The soap reminds me a lot of South American or South Western art, specifically Frida Kahlo but as you're in Texas it could be the different landscapes of Texas.

Is the theme Shakespearean plays? This soap gives me a Midsummer Nights Dream vibes a little bit. The four layers are the four Athenians, the black top is the fog, the flower is the flower that causes the love spell, the love spell is the gold heart. If the fragrance was Loving Spell that would be pretty funny XD
The hint reminds me of the fog that Goodfellow makes to confuse everyone and make them sleep from exhaustion.

I’m guessing “witchcraft and wizardry” themed. The soap reminded me of the Hogwarts houses, that’s clearly an enchanted forest at the end, and maybe I’m reaching but I’m wondering if other things you say are supposed to be hints like the whole thing about the crazy fun aunt. Black hair for Toto, yellow for Yellow Brick Road, blue for Dorothy’s dress, red for slippers, green for witch/emerald city, red flower for the flower scene, forest for haunted forest scene, green gum ball for crystal ball, and heart for the Tin Man.
