    By the time I get one or two walls to L300 they would have changed it to 500.. then 600, 750..1000…. in the end, I will be building walls when Andromeda crashes into the Milky Way and our solar system is engulfed in a flaming Warpath burnout.. this is a more realistic outlook going forward.

    How much does it actually matter when artillery officers deal 1,000,000,000 every 2 seconds tho? Takes 3 years to get level 350 walls. Takes 3 months to get officers pulling that damage off. Walls waste of resources all around just not worth unless you have nothing better to spend on. Set a base goal say 350 million health to fight off rallies then call it quits. Best advice for gold and under. If a heli rally or single artillery shows up, you're dead either way with little to no kills unless they start by accident. When you get enough extra resources, up your D game. There are an infinite number of better things the average players should spending on instead of lasting 0.2 seconds longer for the cost of 600 mil of each resource

    From what I can see, it is better to take all walls to 50, then take one wall to level 200, then then the next to 200, and so on. This is because 4% increase at 199 to 200.

      Nah. You’re losing damage resist that way.

      You wrong and have right Death. Smith have right and hes wrong. It's depends that you rdy have 1 wall at lvl 200 or you just begin. Look at lvl 50 you have 9% dmg resist. At lvl 100 you have 16 % so it's 7% different between lvl 50 and 100. But at lvl 200 you have 32% dmg resist so different is 23%. Now 2 options . Nr1 one your wall is rdy at lvl 200 so you have 3 walls to do . 32% + 3×16% = 80% but if you make second wall to lvl 200 it's 32% +32% +2×9%= 82%. So 2% more . Not much but math doesn't lie.

      @@geralt21k So the issue with this is you’re looking at it from getting max damage resist for a single wall and not how to also get the maximum wall hp and damage resist as you progress your walls.

    I am making this comment to prove that the strategy proposed by Death Wish is not optimal. Lets examine an alternative model already proposed by @smittube8028 in the comment section.
    Strategy 1: Upgrade from level 50 to level 200 directly. This strategy will take 150 upgrades. In exchange, damage resist goes up from 9% to 32% which is an addition of 23% for overall damage resistance.
    Strategy 2: Upgrade in tranches of 50 like DeathWish suggested. This strategy will take 200 upgrades (50 upgrades for each of the 4 wall sections). To make the two strategies comparable, we will assume that we only do three wall sections so that the total number of upgrades is 150. In exchange, damage resistance will go up from 9% to 16% for each wall section. This improvement corresponds to an addition of 7% damage for each wall section. If you multiply this by 3 (instead of 4) to equate the 150 upgrades required in strategy 1, this corresponds to 21% for damage resist gained.
    Hence, if you spend all 150 upgrades, you will get more damage resist from upgrading from Strategy 1.
    However, what happens if someone does not reach the level 200 and instead only upgrades to level 190 just before they benefit from the huge 4% gain from upgrading level 199 to level 200 under strategy 1? Would strategy 2 be more beneficial? The calculations show that someone who adopts strategy 1 will not be worse off and will benefit from an equal increase in damage resistance.
    Take for example someone who upgrades their walls from level 50 to level 190 under strategy 1. Damage resistance will increase from 9% to 28%. This increase translates to a 19% damage resistance gain. In comparison, someone who upgrades their walls under strategy 2, (that is, they upgrade two wall sections to level 100 before upgrading the third wall section to level 90) will benefit from the same increase in damage resistance. More precisely, if someone had alternatively employed strategy 2, they will benefit from an increase of 19% damage resistance gained (7% + 7% + 5% from uncompleted third wall section)
    However, one might also be concerned with how strategy 1 will measure up if we extend the test horizon to the first 200 upgrades. How do we know that strategy 1 is still better than strategy 2? Under strategy 2, one would benefit an increase of 28% (7% multiplied by 4) total damage resistance. In comparison, someone who adopts strategy 1 will benefit the initial 23% gained from upgrading from level 50 to level 200 PLUS an additional 7% from upgrading from level 50 to level 100). In total, they would benefit from 30% total damage resistance gain under strategy 1.
    In conclusion, it seems that strategy 1 would net a 2% damage resistance bonus over strategy 2 in all scenarios.
    TLDR: Strategy 1 is better.

    • @spoon7313
      @spoon7313 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am uncertain if strategy 1 will remain the dominant strategy if one extends the upgrade horizon further than 200 upgrades. Someone who does this calculation will derive a better strategy. However, I think for an average player, planning 200 upgrades in advance is already a sufficiently long time frame.

      You’re missing one major thing. What about limited conquest battlefields? You’re assuming everyone is going to be participating in Epic 1 battlegrounds. This strategy is going to help players maximize their Fortified Walls regardless of battlefield level.

      @@DeathwisH-TV Hi, yes you’re right. I’m not discounting the video. It’s still a helpful guide for limited battlefields. My comment addressed more with the “optimal” claims that you made thereafter which examined strategies for upgrading walls after level 50

    • @DeathwisH-TV
      @DeathwisH-TV  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@spoon7313 I do not think you’re discounting the video by any means. I genuinely appreciate the feedback. However, “optimal” in my mind is what is the best approach in general to maximize the Fortified Walls for all players. The 2% differential being able to take a wall directly to level 200 is only optimal for the players that have that ability. Some players fluctuate between battleground levels as well so this safeguards that and give players the most “bang for their bunk” so to speak in regards to Fortified Walls.
