Performing at the highest level in match fishing can often come down to hours, minutes and seconds of fishing. Often the days, weeks and months of preparation, as well as the overall mindset involved can be overlooked. In this film we try to capture everything that goes into a World Championship and look forward to sponsoring the team next year in Spain.

These gentlemen anglers who represent England are a credit to us. Yes they have sponsorship for some of their costs but not all. Each angler will be out of pockets to the tune of hundreds at the end so due respect to them. Congratulations on a fine result.

Obviously they were disappointed after leading first day, but no match is truly won halfway through....in fishing at least. Still a great performance and what a class act Mick Vials is, a total team man, which makes a difference. That isn't to say the rest aren't true team players either, they are. Such dedication by them all, and couldn't happen without Dean Barlow and the support staff as well. Great video.
It’s a privaledge to watch . It’s also so important to share what their sharing , when people can see what they’re doing they can understand the fishing better , and appreciate the knowledge skill and effort they make . I’m grateful and feel proud that they represent us . I rarely feel proud of this country , thank you to all involved .

Well done to Manager Dean and the whole Team. The Runners Bait preppers all of you your a credit to your country . Not forgetting the biggest part Drennen. Why this has yet been elevated to TV now is a disgrace were good at televising things were not that competitive at . As we all no be a use of all of you we excel at Angling ..Stand Tall be proud . Thank you . One other observation perhaps fly the team rather than let them drive ? Get a support team to drive the team ? I'm thinking of the fatigue it's expending a lot of energy and concentration . They need to be rested before the event mentally and physically. Just my thoughts . Congratulations. All of you .
I truly believe England are the team everyone still looks up to in the world of international match fishing, and you guys have cemented that belief yet again this year.
You carry the flag which has been carried by some of the greatest names in British angling over the years..........and you've carried it magnificently.
The caliber of international anglers from all over the world have come on exponentially over the years and to finish on the podium in 3rd place out of 27 teams is truly an achievement to be proud of.
The growing popularity of angling throughout Europe and the world, along with the standard and the competitiveness of these matches can only be good for the sport, and you guys have helped pioneer that.

DTD river when I lived there was my favourite river to fish there where much more fish in there years ago before the big chemical spill from Hungary it killed millions of fish
Great coverage. Thanks. One question. Why drop a player? These guys are funding themselves. Seems unnecessary. Take 5 out and if someone is sick have one of the support team fish.
Same reason a football team has subs, who knows what's going to happen on the day?
Thanks for watching. Great question! As you have hopefully seen in the film, each person in the support team plays their own vital role towards the success of the team.
It's better to take 6 and have an EXTRA person supporting the team, than to take 5 and have one less.
Fantastic video of a fantastic campaign, what a brilliant insight into a monumental effort by a complete team. Some big men and decisions taken that week, and each one of them has my full respect. Thank you Drennan for all you do in our sport.
