You know, I've been here thinking... Why does Pibby Mods only use 2010s CN Shows? They should use Classic 90s/2000s CN Shows Too Marx's Take is a good example of this
It’s a generational effect; Pibby modmakers are people who were going through their CN Target Audience years in the 2010s. As such, they use the stuff they watched when they were younger. Pibby itself involved shows that far predated even Cartoon Network, the older works of Hanna-Barbara and Warner Brothers, and used expies of stuff they didn’t own. So it would be completely in with the trailer/pilot to bring in anything from The Jetsons and the original Sabrina (The Teenaged Witch) to Darkwing Duck and Courage the Cowardly Dog, we’ll just see that happening less than more current shows. Incidentally, since the “Special Broadcast” had corrupted live action shows, you could bring in basically anything that ever broadcast on television.
I don't work on the mod, I just showed stuff they teased on discord and twitter (they are NOT leaks since the devs publicly released them) I also made videos similar to this of other mods.
