You need to cover your water container with a very fine mesh or the mosquito will get in.
When mosquitos lay their eggs on the water surface, you can have thousands of mosquitos in just one week. That water container will be perfect for mozzies being black as it will heat up nicely.

Thank you for that. I have been looking at solutions for more filtering, but must admit I hadn’t really considered mosquitos.

Great to see you guys again!
    Firstly, happy belated birthday!
Secondly, I love, love, LOVE your idea for the wet room, it's gonna look amazing once you get the shower curtains and plants in! 💛

Myself and my partner who are in our 50s would love to do this. Get out of the rat race. Cannot retire yet though sadly. Is it pretty easy, the process. Love watching this vid ❤️

Thank you for your kind comments. The process for buying in Bulgaria has become a little bit harder since brexit, but there are lots of good people out there who can help with the process. We bought on a pay monthly basis with a company (Mowlem) who made it very easy and have continued to be very helpful when we’ve needed them. We intend to do another video soon explaining how we ended up buying in Bulgaria and how we found the process.

Have done Romania and Serbia on the way to my home in Stara Zagora Bulgaria. I think Serbia if you just want to get home is the better route. Especially now its motorway through to the Bulgarian border

Yes I think you’re probably right, but I do like the drive through Romania. The queues at the Hungarian border are not fun though, hopefully this will get better when and if they become full Schengen zones!

I had a 2-week holiday in Pomoschtitsa recently and my daughter and partner are over there now. Have you met up with any other English? eg. At Serendipity Air B and B near Popovo.

      @ploughyourownfurrowbulgaria  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

No we haven’t met up with any other Brits yet, but we hopefully will when we are living in Bulgaria full time. We follow many others on TH-cam.

Убого все конечно ,для любителей глубокого ретро,впрочем ожидать что-то другое от самой бедной страны евросоюза было бы странно.

I LOVE that artificial grass idea along with that tub in your shower room. My grandmother had put down kind of an artificial grass (outdoor) carpeting in her sun room, and we used to love to go out and hang out there. It's very comfortable and fun.

Good to hear your experience of driving from the uk to Bulgaria. I'm not a fan of flying and I don't think my tools would fit in the overhead locker.

Just subscribed. BTW, if you find that water makes your use of artificial grass problematic, such as by holding water or causing mould, due to it becoming damp, you might consider using paint - Linoleum Paint or Anti-Slip Epoxy Paint for the floor.
End-of-range clearance tiles are another option if you wish to complete the task on a budget. Other options can be explored on TH-cam, where you will find excellent "How To" tutorials should you need them.

Make sure someone keeps an eye on property while empty as homes have a habit of getting emptied including rads stove etc etc......

So far we have had no issues, but we do have some security measures put in place. Obviously these have not been shown on the videos!
