I felt I had to comment on this weeks vlog. I am probably not your key viewer as I have just reached my 70th bday but I am still bright, relevant and very creative. I also have a son...with his own little family such as yours...who is very creative, writes, sings, self taught on many instruments and an all round very cold guy living in Dorking. You should never apologize for what you have produced. Your audience is there for you and if you want to experiment and take things down a different road...good for you..you absolutely should. You are the talent..the viewers are your audience. Feedback is great..whether positive or negative...both are humbling. Keep on creating..you have an amazing talent.

I never have compared one weeks video to another, because there is no possible way your weeks are all going to be the same, or better than the last constantly, that's just not possible. that isn't life. you guys are real, you love what you do, you put in so much time and whatever you produce we will love and watch. You cannot compare artwork. I can understand that point of view since I have done the same with my own work, we are our own worst critic and enemy with thoughts as such. Each video that you put out has a magic within it, and it is so unique to that week that it will always hold that magic. It has to be different each week, there has to be videos that are more mundane than another because that is what is real. And Congrats on buying your first home!! Very exciting!

What I really love about your videos, is that that over the years they've had those style changes, and each of those changes have formed like little chapters in your videos, and I'm not sure if thats been on purpose, because it feels so organic. To have those different styles naturally separating different sections of vlogs and I love it. You've organically created different chapters in the book of your TH-cam channel - and in some ways the book of your lives - and I can't help but admire and love it.
I have watched you for years and years. You are the only TH-cam channel I have never unsubscribed from, and I would never stop watching no matter how busy life gets. Thank you for all your effort Stef!
Honestly I think most people don't care at all how much work or artistic value went into the videos. They just like to see you and anything you put out there is always better than whatever else you can find on youtube. I personally just like watching your little family grow and develop. It's nice that the videos are getting better and better and that your videos also give youtube this whole other dimension of art, rather than just trying-too-hard-to-be-funny-and-original documentations. But sometimes trying so hard to produce something unique and better than last week will still make you end right with all the others: Trying-too-hard. It's nice to see the natural flow of your life and family coming across in the videos. That's what we're all here for in the first place. Everything else is an added bonus.

I LOVE how humble and grateful you guys are! There are youtubers who change their car every few months, need the biggest house, try to make money by selling shit etc. but you're so different and I appreciate that!
The whole ‘this video won’t be good enough, the pressure is on to do better and I’m not good enough etc etc’ is just SO tiring now. EVERY ONE in the comments constantly raves about your videos, they bring actual tears to peoples eyes, and no one has ever said a video of yours is not good enough. I just think it’s rude to effectively ignore all of the amazing praise in the comments section, so many creators would die for feedback like that. So for the love of god, shut the hell up about how you can’t keep the videos up to some sort of ‘standard’ and get on with it.

I bought an apartment 2 months ago, after finally feeling secure in my job enough to do so, as well as having the deposit. This week I found out my job security going into 2020 is less than certain (at least 2019 is OK). It all came as a bit of a shock, and don't ask me how or why but this is the video that I needed. Good luck with the stressful things, the mortgage, the move and the things you won't notice. The toilet leaking, a drafty window or a creaking door. Most of all enjoy the freedom and responsibility that comes from being your own landlord.
I watched you guys every single week for years. But I haven’t in a while... Whilst watching you 3 grow as a family I grew up myself! I have a baby of my own, I work from home.. Life gets crazy really fast doesn’t it. I bet lots of your old viewers are the same! You don’t have to always compare two things to find the best; you can thoroughly love and enjoy them as individual viewing experiences. One video doesn’t invalidate your talent or channel... I can genuinely say I love every single video. Sometimes it’s nice to have more cinematic videos with lots of stunning shots, other times I quite enjoy this more personal feeling to your videos because it feels like catching up with old friends. I absolutely loved this weeks - watching a video without a storyline has been like a blast from the past and it’s felt a lot more “real” again if that makes sense? That isn’t to say I don’t LOVE the other videos, I absolutely do, but as someone who’s been watching since before Grayson was born it’s nice to get glimpses of your less scripted lives again. Keep pushing yourself because all creatives do, but certainly do not beat yourself up for videos like this because they’re still absolute masterpieces. And let’s be honest, if you’re not sat down in front of the camera with the brightness on 200% eating dog biscuits for entertainment; you’re doing a good job as creators.

I tripped on one of three baskets of laundry on the floor to get to my computer to complain about your bemoaning the state of your upload week over week (A possibly interesting aside: I watch videos via the TH-cam app on my Roku so that I can watch at TV-size rather than computer screen size - yours are by far the most beautiful in this format). To be fair, I imagine your continuous self-evaluation has the character of aggravating your sense of inadequacy while simultaneously being the thing that enables your videos to be so good whether they be dramatic storylines or just the shuffle to and from nursery. What you may not consider is that even the mundane things to you are still well-composed and interesting, just as transporting for this overtired Midwest-American mother with three kiddos around the same ages as yours. While you're feeling the weight of storytelling, I'm just amused every time you use the word pram or eat weetabix or walk around a distinctly European town. It's nice to seeing the kids grow and the everyday realities mixed with the larger philosophical wonderment. I like how very human you are underneath all the silky montages and beautiful cinematic efforts. In any case, congratulations on the house! So happy for you! I look forward to living vicariously through your videos, especially those dogs. Dogs are high on my "when we own a house with the space for it" list. In fact, you could have saved yourself some editing time even recording the apologizing bit. It’s so strange to just sort of tune in to someone’s life. I started watching your videos a little after Grayson was born and I haven’t really watched in maybe about a year...and to come back now and pop in is just such a weird feeling. I absolutely loved this weeks - watching a video without a storyline has been like a blast from the past and it’s felt a lot more “real” again if that makes sense? That isn’t to say I don’t LOVE the other videos, I absolutely do, but as someone who’s been watching since before Grayson was born it’s nice to get glimpses of your less scripted lives again. Keep pushing yourself because all creatives do, but certainly do not beat yourself up for videos like this because they’re still absolute masterpieces.
And let’s be honest, if you’re not sat down in front of the camera with the brightness on 200% eating dog biscuits for entertainment; you’re doing a good job as creators.

I tripped on one of three baskets of laundry on the floor to get to my computer to complain about your bemoaning the state of your upload week over week (A possibly interesting aside: I watch videos via the TH-cam app on my Roku so that I can watch at TV-size rather than computer screen size - yours are by far the most beautiful in this format).
To be fair, I imagine your continuous self-evaluation has the character of aggravating your sense of inadequacy while simultaneously being the thing that enables your videos to be so good whether they be dramatic storylines or just the shuffle to and from nursery. What you may not consider is that even the mundane things to you are still well-composed and interesting, just as transporting for this overtired Midwest-American mother with three kiddos around the same ages as yours. While you're feeling the weight of storytelling, I'm just amused every time you use the word pram or eat weetabix or walk around a distinctly European town. It's nice to seeing the kids grow and the everyday realities mixed with the larger philosophical wonderment. I like how very human you are underneath all the silky montages and beautiful cinematic efforts.
In any case, congratulations on the house! So happy for you!

I follow quite a few TH-camrs and you all by far are my favorite!! I truly appreciate the time that is taken with each video. Being a fine artist myself I appreciate the beauty in everyone of your videos, that can be lacking in most other TH-camrs videos.
You record your life. Life isn't always super smooth with a well-thought-out creative story arc. Nobody expects that. In fact, you could have saved yourself some editing time even recording the apologizing bit. I know I come here because you frame things beautifully and inspire me to want to go out into nature (or stay in and enjoy a cozy night at home). You all just keep being you and we'll keep showing up.
