I'm running them as well and I fully agree. Great tire in the dry. Good/okay in the wet. Honestly they're very comfortable on the road for a high performance summer tire as well.
I have an E46 330Ci and I envy you for having roads that seem quiet and smooth. I long to give mine a blast but spend most of my time at less than 30 weaving around the potholes here in Blackpool. Have a great xmas.
Thanks for the info on the Kumho's. I would still take a PS4 or PSS over anything else on my M140, but find it annoying that the PS4S is not available in 18 inch because that would be THE tyre imo...
I’d really like to try the 4s. Annoys me they won’t sell them for the 18, yet they offer the Cup 2 in that size. Does any know why? Are 19’s ‘better’ wheels for performance? I thought 18’s were tbh!!
Changed suspension to a KW Clubsport 2 way last week. Night and day difference to stock adaptiv. Should be your next modification. But you will lose comfort with the uniball camber plates.
@@MarkCup70 fair enough and no gloves :) Thank you for every video in 2019. I bought myself M140i and your videos were very useful in my decision making. I wish you all the best and safe and happy motoring in 2020.
How hard do you have to push the kuhmos to notice the difference in wet grip? I’m getting an m235i next week and are interested to know as I don’t really want to pay the price for mps4’s if these ps91’s are almost as good.
On the road I can't really say there's a difference...but then I don't tend to go hooning about when it's wet. They're definitely less grippy...but it's easy to feel what you have available.
Hi Mark, first I'd like to say that I love your videos and that you have (partially) inspired me to get an M140 of my own. I got a black 5dr facelift with a manual which I absolutely love! My only gripe has been the gas mileage. What kind of MPG are you getting city/hway? I am averaging 21mpg.
@@MarkCup70 thank you! just watched it. I think I don't use the 5-6th gear enough around town and maybe shift too late. don't see any other reason why I would be at 21mpg
Nick Anderson yeah, that 7-8 gear is a def a plus. I have actually considered the auto but decided I want more involvement. Besides the manuals are going extinct so I am hoping it will hold value better. Still, even w the manual i should be way higher than 21mpg
@@zevlibin8892 manual looks a good choice, I was excited by paddles but they are slow (but very smooth). Had some khumos on my zs 180 about this time last year - a bit of a different situation I know being FWD with about half of the power! Nevertheless I was very impressed with them for about £70 a tyre!
Hi Mark, Good Video as always! Have a look at this video reviewing the Kumho vs the Pilot 4S, Goodyear Eagle F1 etc.... th-cam.com/video/4NcenJ0zmAY/w-d-xo.html I'd love to know when you're headed to Bedford, I'll come along in the M140i :) Cheers, Nick
Thanks for the update Mark, however the thing I find most amazing is you have had this car for 416 Days... it seems like it was about 3 or 4 months ago you had the RS.....
I know this has been mentioned before You’re still doing that stupid wheel wobbling thing while driving ??? I’m not talking at the track, I mean just while driving normally Mate, it’s so infuriating, why do you do it and even at such slow speeds ? Please have a look back at your video and try and train yourself out of it - it’s really not normal at all And No, it’s not the car cause you did it in the RS too Great video btw and thanks for the update Now go and have a word with yourself 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

What you best recommend for wet?
I have run the PS91 on my quattro A4 and love them.

Same with me. Michelin wants us to buy CUP2s in this size or new set of 19 inch wheels + PS4S.

Do you recommend these tires for a bmw m4 f82? thanks
Try the kumho ecsta V70A, more grip!! ,The Best tire for the track..and is road legal! 225/40/18 at the front, 245/35/18 at the rear..
I also like to know the weight of the tyre, surprising variation between brands for same size boot.

Keep me posted on the Bedford day, I’d like to come along too 👌
Mark, do you always drive with DSC off on wet public roads?
Because he is under the illusion he is a driving god
Always off, I like rev matching myself.

I have been watching your track day videos for a while and i'm keen to do my first track day in my M135i. Who do you use for track insurance?
I'm sure I didn't hear you mention it but what was the difference in lap time between your best dry and what you achieved this greasy event? Cheers.
I've not measured any of the wet laps...I really must go back and do that...
