Yes 5 daily workers of this resort were on September 1, 2023 died fell down from the broken funicular. RIP 😭

Hello 🤍 It depends in which area you are planning to stay in… if you’re looking for a good hotel in Ubud with a private villa + pool I would recommend
The Kayun Jungle Resort, beautiful 5 star hotel and used to always be fully booked so must book in advance
Four Seasons is truly amazing if you are looking for a luxury hotel. It has all the ricefield activities, rafting etc. all from this resort. 100% recommend
Ayuterra has the most stunning villas we’ve seen and the best pool view in comparison to all other 5 star hotels. Service is very friendly but I felt its more of a 3-4 star hotel than a 5 star.
Let me know if you have any questions or if you want good hotels in Seminyak we really loved Indigo Hotel, and W Bali I heard is amazing as well.
