Truth: I bought a minibrute several years ago after seeing this video. Why? To make noises with my guitar playing buddy. He doesn't typically want to jam together and it almost never happens, but not I have a whole room full of synths and got lost in the world of hardware and music. Really, thanks for this video. Not only is what you made together really beautiful, but it motivated me to explore this world of sound. You're both excellent.
Look at these crazy kids-- so addicted to musics that they are sleeping on the floor and have an entire days meal of soup in their only vessel between them.
Thank you for all the positive comments! If you enjoyed this then check out Guillaume's live surround sound and visual performance he did for a university project, which I also contributed guitar for! Thanks again Live Audio-Visuial Surround Sound Performance
hello andrew. i had a question: are you using the sequencer to keep the sound of the synth going, or is it done through the kaoss pad (i generally mean the bassline in the background). wondering what you guys are up to these days, this stuff is cool!
I like your set up, both synth and guitar-wise as well as the combination. And the music more than does justice to the tasteful selection of equipment. Really good music. You guys should keep working together.
Awesome stuff. I'd already ordered my Minibrute before seeing this. I'm learning guitar and intend to invest in some pedals and fx devices too. Great inspiration guys, keep it up and bring us more. :-)
Thanks so much Emmanuel!!! Glad you enjoyed the video and it also gave you the persuasion to buy the synth too! Have fun with it, it's an amazing instrument! :)
Had stored this in my Hardware YT directory years ago.... Oh shit it just still stands.. this is an amazing piece, and you guys should release it... SSSSOOOO GOOOD :)))
Helium Road - "ambient music requires no drums" - not true strictly speaking. "Ambient music" is not a synonym for "music with no drums" - and simply not having drums does not make a track "ambient". Look up Brian Eno and how and why he coined the term.
Haha! I want to buy a Fender Jaguar Classic Player HH and an Arturia MiniBrute synth. ...and I found your video, where you use the same stuff :D Cool instruments, and cool music!
I like it! :) Your sound reminds me of an old band called "Spacehawk". They actually are/were quiet popular. What I want to say is: keep on going, this can get big ;)
You're onto something good here lads, stick with it - i'd like to hear how you develop your sound... i think you'd probably enjoy listening to Spacemen 3 - check out their album 'Recurring'...
Thank you very much! We've been talking for a while about doing another vid but just haven't got round to it yet! We'll defo check out Spacemen 3 too! :) Thanks for watching!

This might be one of the greatest amateur performance ive ever scene on youtube.
back here after almost 10 years to enjoy this jam. this was also the jam that convinced me to get the minibrute...
This is so, wonderful. For an amateur performance i want this on every platform, and on my phone. Its so good i cant even describe it.
Very very good performance! Love the dreamy sound of this! Add in a drummer with a simmons drumsynth and it will be perfect!
Getting my toddler the Microbrute to learn synthesis. He's already obsessed with all my gear and I think it's the perfect starter for him!
I’m doing the same! Hope it worked out well for him 👍
Not the microbrute, but the Minibrute!
You guys have to keep playing together, great connection, beautiful/inventive/obsessive/hypnotic music. We want more .....please....
Look at these crazy kids-- so addicted to musics that they are sleeping on the floor and have an entire days meal of soup in their only vessel between them.
I bet it's Ayahuasca
i don't remember when was the last time i heard something so sick. seriously, you dudes need to make a band or something.
This is bloody excellent. I could listen to this all day long. I want to be in this band
loving the ambient trance sounds you guys create :) very inspiring I myself a microbrute and have been looking to implement a guitar in my set up.
I'm not sure I'd have bought my MiniBrute without seeing this video.
+MattyStevensonBishop same here
This was pretty awesome, now I feel the need to go jam with some friends haha!

same for the 'drumsounds' from 04:00 onwards.. etc.
This would fit perfectly in a David Fincher movie.
Hey this is really cool. Always glad to find a fellow brute user out there. Love the guitar there too!
Damn this was amazing. I'd totally pay to see you play live haha!
This is cool. Just purchased a microbrute and I love it as a bass instrument. Huge, huge sound.
I like your set up, both synth and guitar-wise as well as the combination. And the music more than does justice to the tasteful selection of equipment. Really good music. You guys should keep working together.

Had stored this in my Hardware YT directory years ago.... Oh shit it just still stands.. this is an amazing piece, and you guys should release it... SSSSOOOO GOOOD :)))
The world doesn't know you guys yet but I got a feeling they will
Ignore that: ambient music requires no drums. Not every electronic track has to be some kind of dance club rubbish.
RCAvhstape A great first sentence. A terrible second. Not every dance club track has to be some kind of rubbish.
Scott Endote Great third sentence, not so great first two sentences. I agree for the most part.
i hate you all together
Thanks for playing.
