I hope that Nathan does something else this well, or even better. Either way, for the rest of his life, he gets to look back on this and think "damn I falcon NAILED Anseo Func in 2016."
I'm getting into a TG Lurgan hole on New Year's Eve and I DON'T CARE. These young folks are obviously enjoying themselves and that does my heart good. Maybe there's hope for this world yet.
Im coming on 60 yrs old---As a result of listening to TG Lurgan for quite a while now--my birthday present is going to be a week at the Gaelteacht in Donegal--thanks
Brilliant….so many talented young performers, both music and dance, proudly keeping the beautiful Irish language alive for the generations to come - well done!
Nice one guys not my style of music but anything that promotes irish talent and skills is good by me nice one guys made me smile great effort , ok then whats next and it must ne in the Irish language x
HELP! I started with one video three hours ago and am still going....I can't stop watching/listening! Is this music available to buy in mp3 format, does anyone know?
No tis you won't likely be able to buy these song on cd dvd these children are part of a summer camp for three weeks learning Gaelic/ Irish for three weeks through music the hold three summer camps with 500 children at each camp you can get all of them on Utube I think they have a channel you can subscribe to
I am a 40 year old American. Self teaching myself gaelic for only a couple months. I can pick up on a few words. For those studying gaelic for years and not being able to follow the song is truly disheartening.
They're probably taking it as a school subject - teenagers who 'have' to take a language as a school subject can be very resistant to learning anything useful. Or they may just be badly taught.
Just seen your comment. Don't worry! I speak English and Irish, and have been living in Germany for 35 years. Find German songs easiest to understand. Some languages just aren't meant for singing, Irish is one of them. The sounds just merge into each other, which makes the lyrics very unclear. English is almost as bad, sometimes.
Hey, I'm hella crap at Irish but I'm trying as hard as I can, music is my biggest passion and I'd love if you could help me out with performance I'm doing for my school talent show, I really wanted to sing GLITTERBALL by sigma and Ella Henderson but singing it in Irish would mean so much more to me, ❤️
For sing this in Gaelic (irish) its impressive for how confusing Gaelic (irish) is For example Horse chestnut tree Would be Crann Cnó Capaill But if you translated it in order it would be Tree chestnut horse Aka Irish is backwords So good job
