Thepupils is absolutely right. Now, everyone has bad days, so it is possible if you met him and he didn't exactly kiss your ass - might have been having a bad one. I went to school with Salman, have known him for a long time and will tell you, he is one of the nicest dudes on the planet. He was always telling encouraging things to young skaters in our neighborhood - hell, he complimented everyone. Anyone who talks shi* about him doesn't know him. Plain and simple.
+Josh Borkowski Rufusdos is 100% right, your comment is embarrassing. In addition to the date of the footage and the switch stance factor, people don't seem to realise that there is a massive technological advantage for skateboarders in 2017 vs skateboarders 25 years ago. The shape of decks, the amount of concave, truck quality, bearings, etc etc.
Man I like the fact that salman was different! Style, looks, skate techniques! And he was comfortable in that position! What a legend!

@TheHabitat101 K.O.T.R dvd coming in a month or two.
We need to see some new Salman footage
Like NOW.
its not what you do, is how...now, and then
Its crazy how much skating has progressed. This footage today would be a decent sponsor-me tape.
I can’t remember why he was skater of the year, though…from switch ollie over a fire hydrant?
Basically THE FIRST switch ollie over a fire hydrant plus 2 sick parts in the same year. Tech progression, style and innovating switch.
He seriously got soty? Lmfao
Watch this again and consider the date of the footage and that he skates regular, then diss.
