Quirky, tight, and original! I liked "Class Historian" SO much when I first heard it (just recently) that I'd was afraid I'd be let down when I listened to more. Not so! I just wish I'd heard of them before now!!

I saw them in Portland they gave an amazing show that sounded better than the album.
So they sound very huge even as a 3-piece. I believe the guitar guy was sick at this day.

Been a fan of this band for a long time. I like the lead guitarist's clay field farmer look, his hooks of course. He's pretty intense. Trying to figure out if the drummer has some sort of drum synth behind him, pretty creative drumming, The bass is pretty standard, but she has no confidence in her singing voice. Why bother at that rate. Not a fan of whisper singing as bg vocals. I think she was too busy trying to be cool, like too concerned about it. A good listen though.
Lol she's definitely confident in her singing voice. Listen to her side project Labrys.
The quiet, subdued backing vocals are kinda the style on this album tho
