Congrats on how well you are doing. Your chickens are looking very healthy. Just a tip if you try adding a perch in front of the top boxes you might find more eggs laid in there as it will make the jump easier for the chickens

I’m venturing into poultry and animal farming aswell but I’m starting with chickens and still in the process of building the chicken house in Zimbabwe my country, I’m based in the UK at the moment, I’ve been following your project for a long time now, bro you got the passion. Wow, you're really moving right along there! In the beginning my hens would lay some really huge eggs, double yolkers. But now those same sized eggs (some as big as a duck egg) are huge, single yolkers.

1) layer chicken - why did you choose Isa Brown as the breed ? How long does it takes to break even. Can you please share P & L ?

Hi Dr, it might help to trim the beaks on the cockerels. It might be a bit tedious due to the number, but it'd reduce the damage inflict on eachother.
