- In traditional astrology and through the lens of mythology, Neptune, God of the Sea, is the ruler of Pisces. In astrology, Neptune is considered a planet of inspiration, dreams, psychic receptivity, illusion, and confusion. Neptune rules spirituality, and all things subtle.
Esoteric astrology is the discipline which most modern medical systems can find their origin in. Such as psychology, and psychiatry etc. Esoteric astrology’s model is that of understanding the cause rather than understanding the effect. If one can understand the process, therein finding the reason behind why specific energies are present in the natal birth chart. Then it is easier to over come some of the harder aspects experienced in the chart.
Esoteric astrology can be applied to both main schools of astrology. Western(tropical) and eastern(Vedic) as both deal with the effect, and don’t really answer the cause. For this reason esoteric astrology is more dynamic and fluid. Especially when comparing it, to the very masculine “matter of fact” nature found in Vedic astrology.

Thank you very much. This is me alright. My natal Neptune is conjunct my natal Sun. Natal Neptune in the 12th and Natal Mercury in the 12th. I am watching this over and over. I certainly vibe with feelings of over responsibility and power. I also vibe with reflecting what the masses produce upon me. And I have always felt a strong crown chakra and I do have a feeling of, it's hard to put into words, but of knowing the complete cycle, knowing what everyone has gone through, knowing all the personalities and stages. Lol. And yes, I escape because I'm not an individual, I am the totality of everything. That sounds funny to say as a human. Lol.
wow - I have the same - Sun/Neptune exact degree and with 20 minutes apart (professional astrologer called it a Cazimi) with Mercury close by.... All in my 3rd House. Thank you for sharing. 🙏💖🕊️🌸🌍
Interesting. I also have neptune conjunct sun in sag. And saturn and jupiter conjunct in libra. And moon and ascendent conjunct Mars in capricorn. Uranus conjunct midheaven conjunct Venus in scorpio. I have no such lofty knowledge outside of which I've read in books regarding all this stuff, other than the obvious. The universe is a single entity, so obviously everything is connected and essentially one. Uni verse. One verse. Clues in the name, but thats it. It's not particularly profound. As the Jackson five put it, abc 123 baby you and me girl 😂

Neptune conjuncts my Moon and Uranus. Don't have a 100% accurate birth time but the one I use Neptune is conjunct right on top of my MC, probably why I relate so much to Neptune even though my chart ruler is Venus.

Anyone here have any helpful book or site references for guidance on understanding how to work with the challenges of Neptune/Pluto dominant energy issues? Addictions, mental health, etc. I'm 12th house moon and Neptune in Scorpio, 8th house sun and Pisces N node 4th house set against a 10th house stellium of Pluto, Jupiter and Uranus in Virgo, having what I think is a midlife crisis in a health care career. I'm new to Astrology and it's a steep learning curve. I think I'm having trouble discerning between Pisces N node energies to magnify and 12th house Neptune influences that seem to cloud everything and must certainly be tendencies to master. I just can't tell what to trust intuitively. Greatly appreciate any correspondence with another who can relate.
