  • Hi Friends. Welcome or welcome back to my channel. Today I will be doing my debt confession rollout!!!
Thank you for stopping by. If you’re new I hope this video does not scare you away and I hope you return. If you are returning, thank you for your support. It means the world to me.
This video is a hard one for me. I have been procrastinating it. But I have to get rid of the debt. It has taken a toll on me. This total is just
Consumer CC debt. I do have student loan debts and that will be my second wave of payoffs.
Thank you all. Love you guys xxxx

Hey Odette! Just catching your debt confession video. I love that you saw progress with cash stuffing and you jumped in with both feet on the snowball as well! Sometimes it's best not to overthink things especially when it comes to saving money or paying off debt. Trusting the method and not wasting time are key elements in a debt payoff plan, because time is the only thing we can't get back. Looking forward to your future debt progress videos now that you are aware of your numbers and facing this challenge head on. You got this friend!!! 💕💕💕

Hi Odette! I see you're a fellow lefty 😊 thanks for being transparent w your cc debt! I think those first 3 could def be snowball worthy! Once u start getting to the bigger numbers u can change ur strategy to be interest focused or tackle the one w the highest minimum payment to eliminate it and add money to ur budget. Whatever u decide, eliminating the debt is most important. U can do whatever u feel is best and change it up as u feel necessary!

I am so happy you did this, I have mine written out but haven’t been brave enough to do a video yet. I feel like our paths are the same with money and this method. It is so hard to see it written down but we are tackling it and we will be debt free soon!!! We have about the same debit figure hahaha. I started the lowest first. But now I am trying to tackle the higher interest because I didn’t realize how high the interest rate was until I wrote things down.

Dawn I was thinking of that as well. Higher interest with minimum payments can eat up your payments making you feel like you are not making a dent in that balance. I have a few smaller amounts. I was thinking of tackling those first then moving onto the high interest ones. Thanks for stopping by twinsie. Lolol

Hi Bestie. Thank you for your being so raw and vunerable. this is a very hard thing to come forward and admit. When I got divorced, I thought I would never be able to pay off my debt. I started like you did, I wrote everything out and I snowballed by starting with the smallest amounts owed first. It got to the point to where it was just too much and I had to get a debt consolidation loan and that really helped me. All these different payments I had to make each month was just too much for me. I'm going to be finishing up that consolidation loan next year Dec 2025. I did take a hit on my credit score but I was able to get the amounts negotiated and now I just make 1 payment per month as opposed to making 15 different payments each month.

Thats amazing Lilz. I wanted that to be my last option. I am going to try my hardest first. Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I appreciate it.

@@OdettesBudgetingLife Yeah, for my mental health and sanity, I had to go that option. I figured the sooner I do it, the sooner it will be taken care of and closer to 7 years when it gets removed off my credit report. Honestly, it's been 5 years and my credit score has soared because all my payments are paid on time now :)

You write like I do! Except that I'm right handed, so I slant my paper the other way. You're so brave to put all this on video. That's wonderful that you're writing it all out and facing it head-on, though! Good on you! You'll get through this! Bit by bit and the debt snowball is a great way to do it. I agree with doing the smaller debts first and get those gone asap! Will be praying for you, girl! Thank you for being open and honest 💝🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🖤

The debt snowball worked very well for me and it gave me quicker win, so the burn out was as bad!! Great first step of writing it all out!!

Hi Odette! Its hard to look at the numbers sometimes. We did the snowball method. Paying smallest to largest debts. Extra on the lowest and minimum on the rest. Its never too late! You got this!!🙏🏻
