Well, that’s clearly what they’re ripping off with this show. I didn’t think they’d sink this low, but I’m also not surprised with this group.
Vanessa is the trickster goddess of the TMPH. Sometimes bequeathing gifts of bounty, sometimes bequeathing curses upon her subjects. It is wise not to anger her, or suffer not her wrath.
They must have angered her to deserve natto for the Japanese breakfast.

As a salvadorian, i am extremely happy that our breakfast won, alot of people compare our foods to other hispanic country's food, like mexico (Nothing against them, their food is delicious) so i was very happy to see our traditional food 🩷 Was also pleasantly surprised to find our vanessa is salvadorian 🩷

The Indian food is called dosa. It’s a savory lentil crepe from south India or Tamil Nadu. We have a large vegetarian population and use a lot of lentils and dhals to help with food. Glad you guys liked it.

Indian food wins every category always in my book and BOY HOWDY do I love a dosa 😮💨😮💨 I’m also vegetarian and have been for 13 years so I’m well accustomed to not having much to pick from at restaurants. My biggest issue walking into an Indian restaurant is that there are SO MANY OPTIONS and I feel like I need to order half the menu to try everything I want lmao

As someone who has a tricky relationship w eating, Arin’s love of food and Dan’s appreciation of it makes me really happy and I can’t help but feel encouraged to eat too lol
Edit: For people who may have a similar experience with food/eating, I just want y’all to know that I see you and to also take it one step at a time. Whether your eating habits come from dietary restrictions, food preferences, mental or physical health related - So long as you’re trying your best, then that’s all you can do. Don’t let anyone make you feel ashamed or discouraged. We all have our own lives and experiences, and we all have our own ways of doing our best to manage it. Do what works for you. Every meal is a new one and a step towards taking care of yourself.
So if having Arin as your “hang in there” cat poster to help you with eating, then keep on going. I hope you all have something good to eat and remember to take care of yourselves, however that may be :)

I felt the same way too. Hearing him sound so excited about getting to eat every few hours is the opposite experience I have most of the time when it comes to eating. It makes me sad but also feel like maybe I can feel like that too someday. There are times I do enjoy eating, but I just don't often look forward to it.

Japanese breakfast is more than just natto with rice and miso soup; you can also have grilled fish, tamagoyaki, tofu, pickled veggies, seaweed etc, but knowing the GG formula they wanted to make it weird, but also I grew up in Japan so I’m biased
