Balcones 25 tph system Austin

Balcones was awarded a 20-year contract with the City of Austin to process the majority of the city's residential recycling. The MRF is housed in a new building and was built with flexibility in mind. The BHS system is capable of processing either residential or commercial material with recovery rates in excess of 95 percent.
The highly-automated plant features the latest in BHS patented screening, optical and controls technology, allowing Balcones Resources to boost the recycling recovery rate for city residents, produce clean commodities and divert a significant amount of material from landfill.
