Its a school anniversary in order to celebrate the school admin make a no bag challenge from school staff teacher and student. The purpose of that is to bring the creativity of the students and school staff just like no bag no problem..
My mother is a retired public small school principal from my Pueblo, I taught to the same school as a remedial teacher in the past too. And truth to be told most of my students dont have any bags, papers, notes or at least a pencil. My mom and I often purchase items from her pocket because of it. (Schools have MOOE and supplies for students too, but mom likes to give away as well, she's loved there.) I love this challenge because ot shows creativity from students, I once have a student who sew a back pack from those cloth grocery bags from supermarkets. Her pencil case is also made from the same material too! (around Christmas I gifted her a bag, pencil case and purse, since I loved her creativity.)
Not many knows this but this trend started because of a different reason. The trend came from America. It started as a security measure against "school shootings" after an Idaho school found a gun inside a backpack of an elementary student. The school thought that banning backpacks was a way to prevent school shootings. It was such a ridiculous ban that the students decided to be creative with their school bags just like how they did in this video. It trended on tiktok worldwide. When face to face classes started this year in the Philippines, maybe a teacher or student saw this challenge from tiktok and suggested to do this challenge because it looked fun. Probably made up another meaningful reason just to follow a trend lol
I remember when i was in high school, i don't carry a bag often because i don't like carrying too many. I only carry one notebook a piece of paper and a ballpen. We have nine subject and you know what? I write one subject in each page. Then, i just trasfer it to the designated notebook when i got home. As for the quiz, I let my clssmate to share some of thier paper so, that's what a memories i can't forget. It's fun and
As a law student, I juggled 3 hard bound books plus reviewers and my notes depending on my schedule every day. LMAO, I own back-packs but I love making my life miserable. Haha
We also did this last year (I think the first to do this), it is actually for the Science Month celebration, it is to teach students to be innovative and resourceful, and it is so fun and interesting at the same time because someone brought a large suitcase and a SHS student brought a washing machine. But I just brought a shawl scarf, tied it like a bag and put my things inside, innovative and resourceful😁😊
i think it happened after the pamdemic. and schools started to open. this supports those who can't buy bags. and to make student interested on going to school again
I'm filipino and I definitely won't do this challenge, I know this started out as a creative challenge by a school somewhere, and even if this is to support people who can't afford bags, it's better to stop the challenge and raise money to buy bags for those people instead
They do that kind of cHallenge to support those who doesnt have bags or cannot afford to buy bag
I thought they just do this for fun, imitating the trend that has been going on in the West

We actually tried this at our school here in the Philippines also and it was sooooooo much fun!!! I brought a box with string attached to it 😂
When we had a test we did this "no bag challenge" and one of my classmate just put the paper and ballpen on his pocket 😂

we had this one 2003 hahaha in my senior year in HS. we use plastics instead of bags for 1 week.
