The simplest is the series 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. the double Dutch he talking about is not the Jumping rope double Dutch he talking double Dutch is slang for unintelligible or garbled speech or language
For 6 yrs off and on Ren's mother took care of him. He was in his bed (he called it his tomb) for 8 months straight only leaving to be helped to use the bathroom, sponge bath ect. His mother kept him alive and waited on him hand and foot. His mother was one of his angels. He doesn't seem that close with his father, seemed more of an acquaintance. He spoke about him briefly in his life story he told us from 17-34 yrs old. This was when he first got sick and he struggle to stay alive and didn't know what was wrong with him.
Ren got a call at 3 am from his friend Ella she told him that Joe was on Bridge and was crying wanted her to call tell everyone bye for him so Ren jumped out bed but his clothes on took off running he live like 5 minutes from the bridge so he knew could run it in less than 5 minutes he called Joe Phone it was busy last time he try it got no service he got there 2 minutes to late they never found Joe Hughes body Joe was cover in Freckles Ren first album Freckled angels has so face on the cover
Ren was not literally talking about his family, he was personifying things: Useless is my mother Truth is my father Bruises my brother Bruises my sister
As a 31-year survivor, people been trying to avoid the suicide term as if it is worst that using the F word, but no it's not. This topic needs to be addressed, in his entirety, no fancy euphemisms like "unalive" but what it really is. I've bene on both sides of it and it's a neverending process. We relive those moments unexpectedly. Always love your reactions.

I'm not sure if this is correct, but this is how I've always interpreted the lyrics when he mentions brother, sister, mother and father. Think of it like talking to a friend and you say "my brotha" or "my sista" to them. So if he's talking to a friend about his pain and says "bruises my brotha, one time or the other, skin feels counterfeit, silicone rubber". Then maybe talking to a female friend and one of them is struggling and he says "bruises my sista, skin popped a blister, dig deep, resist the feeling when it hits ya". Later he continues these terms of endearment, or descriptors, by using mother and father in a similar way. Not that he is talking about his mother or father. Just my guess.
@@YoFavoriteHomegirl not sure if if u know Ren story or not but he went years misdiagnosed with stuff he Didn't even have they had him on meds for it that caused him to have psychosis he also got PTSD to but not from meds he had a recording deal with Sony why working on his album he got sick and couldn't finish it so they parted ways he move to Wales he would become bedridden for up 23 hours a day it would take years before he would get right Diagnosis he has Lyme disease he went so long misdiagnosed that he has Brain damage Organ damage Joint damage he has had 2 stem cell transplants he also has Mast Cell Activation Syndrome he can only eat like few things because just about everything he eats cause his body to have allergic reaction to it he in Canada right now getting treatment he has to have IV 5 days a week also they put this thing on his he that help open path ways in his brain he also has ADHD
