Old flamenco guitar player here, love the depth of this and always enjoy the pattern of an Andalusian cadence, I have been using this to improve my intonation accuracy on the violin as Gm is my favourite key for that instrument. The F# resolution on the DMaj7 works great on a bowed string.

This was just so awesome! I don't know much about music theory but have played Native American Flutes for over 30 years and this is one of the best backing tracks I have come across. Just sounds beautiful with my G minor flutes.

Yesterday this track appeared randomly while I was studying the Dm Scale. Im glad it did, I could easily switch to the Gm scale, without played it once. It is the first time I saw the whole scale on the Fretboard in my inner Eye. I had immediately a riff playing in my mind on top of this track. It was a breakthrough in my guitar skills. Thank you Sir for this wonderful piece.

Love the chord progression in this one.
It's a classic, works very well with different arrangements and I hardly get tired of it. I think I discovered it by chance playing random chords 20 years ago and it immediately stuck. Probably it was in my head from some other songs in the past.

Es para utilizar la escala menor harmonica (or phrygian dominant) sobre el acorde Re. Sobre los otros, puedes utilizar la escala de Sol menor o aoelian.

D7 es dominante, septima menor, o 6 major, RE7, el estandard no es REmaj7. Lo sientes. D7. Como el Mi7 si despues vas en La menor.

Muy bueno. Una pregunta, puedes tocar la nota de Fa# con tu flauta. Eso seria perfecto sobre el acorde the RE. Cambiar el FA en FA#.

This is amazing thank you. And by the way why does it sound good when i play the harmonic minor when the D7 chord comes on?
Because the D7 chord contains the note "F#" (which is NOT in the key of G natural minor).
The G Harmonic Minor scale contains the note "F#" which is the "major 7th interval" or "natural 7th". Because the F# is found in both the G harmonic minor scale and the D7 chord, that is why Harmonic Minor sounds good in this situation.
Composers sometimes do this to add tension to the progression, instead of playing straight diatonic chords. The Dm chord would have been the "normal chord" to play in this situation. I like the D7 better!
