The rolling drum passages in this one are nigh unmatched. They are ominous, overwhelming, almost apocalyptic sounding. They feel powerful and oppressive. Straight up sounds like thunder, but frantic, rapid, and unrelenting. Frankly they're just a stroke of genius, and perfectly executed, and I can't get over them. Especially the second one.
It’s crazy knowing Chris Wiseman is also with Shadow Of Intent and can showcase his guitar work so differently compared to both bands. Dude is a genius🤘🏻🤘🏻

Thank you for staying true to your sound Currents, time for them to get the attention they deserve and hopefully blow up like none other. (side note, Brian is one of the best in the game. The evolution of his voice and the way he can execute live is truly one of a kind to see in person)

Man, I do not know what it is, but just seeing the power of that tornado ripping that barn apart, I was just mesmerized by its power and beauty; not to mention it lined up perfectly in the song. As I had goosebumps covering my arms, neck, and running up my head (oh yeah!), all the emotions of this stupid coronavirus craziness, disasters in the world, partisan politics, etc. just overwhelmed me. Thanks Currents. Keep it up. Music like this allows me to get my emotions out that I often bottle up.
Currents is such a underrated metal band. They deserve nothing but the best. Thats what they give to us fans. I saw them in Pittsburgh and was blown away a few years back and haven’t stopped supporting them.
Never disappointed with them. Always hit hard and the lyrics are beautiful and relatable every time! These guys are super underrated for their level of talent ❤️🤘🏼
