  • There are few more acclaimed albums in the history of popular music than Highway 61 Revisited. Lead by the inimitable Like A Rolling Stone, it's often thought of as one of, if not THE best Bob Dylan album. His second of 1965, it was his very first fully electric album and he brought in a cracking band lead by Mike Bloomfield and the up-till-this-point unknown Al Kooper, who snuck into the recording of Like a Rolling Stone and managed to contribute one of the greatest organ parts of all time.
That's just how it went with Bob. He brought out the best in everyone.
But did he bring out the best in Joe?
After the breakthrough with Bringing it All Back Home, are we in line for a 5-star affair? Or will Joe have issues with the song lengths and vocal stylings?
Much like the actual subject of Ballad of a Thin Man, it is unknowable.
But at least, Joe gets to hear a bridge in a Dylan song, so that's gotta be worth something.
Leave those thoughts in the comments.
    Thanks for watching!
