My only requirement is that the front of the bag has to open flat so I can see everything. No digging around a messenger bag. But a similar shape. Can you put together a video on how you 'prototype' a project. Non-leather materials you use to mock up the shape. Then how to make patterns? Just a thought for a different kind of video. Feel free to decline. It would be a lot of work on your part. You already teach me cool stuff. I just don't know where to start.

Great video! I could watch that puppy all day long and not get tired of it! So precious! He is going to be a big one!!! Going to have to try that collar…I’m not a leather crafter and don’t have any fancy leather tools, but I might try it anyway, and use my XTool D1 to engrave his name on it! My dog deserves a beautiful collar like that! Lol

Love this! I am new to leather craft and I am having a hard time trying to cut those rivets down to size. I ordered cutting pliers but can't seem to cut it down. What type of pliers do you use and thickness of your rivets. I've been ordering #9 brass and copper.
Late reply but thought I’d toss this out there anyway: I currently use 8” Knipex end cutters and they are great, though I’ll be upgrading to the 10” version shortly to give more leverage for cutting the harder brass rivets as production increases.

Suggestion: if you make another for your dog put one D ring in the center of the collar. Reason is the weight og the buckel will always be down and with a ring for the leash at the top you dont have to turn the collar arond to clip on the leash.

It should work fine if you just convert everything to centimeters (1 inch = 2.54cm). Have fun!
