The problem is with Gibson these days is their build quality is all over the shop whereas PRS is really consistant, plus those S2 singlecuts are probably the most comfortable Les Paul "style" guitars out there with their belly cuts, bevelled tops and neck joints. Also, when unplugged, the S2's acoustically have the Les Paul honk, so if you don't gel with the sound/pickups, they can be easily replaced to suit your taste.
