- This is the first vid in a series documenting the build of "Moose the Manbuhlance" - In this episode we start from the beginning of why a 1962 Chevy C30 ambulance was chosen to sit on a 95 Dodge 3500 chassis - also, a step by step "how to" remove a toasted 47RH automatic transmission and install a new manual NV4500 - The body swap will be coming up in future episodes

The needles are common Veterinary needles that any farmer would have in his truck rolling around

Me too buddy
@@ElReysGarage the show TRUCKS. Took one of those same trucks and slapped a Ford pickup on it. They used the dodge gauge cluster in it
that was probably an insula needle there's also a lancet there too
Yep, you may be right....some others have said maybe for ranch animals meds too.
Nice build

Danger ride still goin'... Will be pullin the trailer with this "new" bigger, better, badder "Moose the Manbuhlance" ... Will be working on the Blaster products in Australia this week...I have a meeting with them...Let me see what I can do
Maybe a diabetic or had a few workers with undesirable habits .. you never know but man im happy about this conversion getting under way
Yes...He may have had some medical issue for sure....One thing I know is he liked sunflower seeds!!
If it was a farm truck, those were probably from giving livestock shots. They are large gauge needles like used with animals.
Holy fuck that truck is clean
Could you imagine being the dude that bought the dodge new bet the interior was nice at that time
For sure...that truck was worked hard on a ranch...It was beat...but exactly what I was lookin for..."One man's trash is another man's treasure" is the truth here.
Nice 👍
The sunflower seeds is for when we couldn't get his fix......damn,
Honestly needless like those could have been for insulin, in the early 2000's they used a lot of that style needle system but seeing that stuff still is scary. If you find sharps like that in your rig don't pick them up without gloves. In fact try not to touch them with your own hands. Put them in a hard plastic bin and call your local ambulance or police office to ask about disposal.
Ranch rig, dollars to donuts it's been in a bovine or was destined to. Just going off the gauge of it and what we keep around for the same thing.
Agreed, believe these needles were probably used for livestock @@ljkck3578
Have you lost fifth gear in the nv 4500 yet?
No, matter of fact, that new trans I put in it claims to have solved that problem on their selling points
@@ElReysGarage I really like my nv4500. I have a 95 Z71 I've owned since 95 and at 175k I had to replace the 5th gear but and it isn't any trouble to do. All other gears worked but it started to whine a bit, so I parked it until I could figure it out. The fluid went into the transfer case. I assume the nut caused the seal to fail. Since I don't use it for work or long trips, I didn't do any upgrades or fixes. I figure if it lasted 175k once it should last that long again with loctire. So it was less than half a day of work. I have put about 20k miles and no problems. The chain in my transfer case has finally made a small hole like the NP's do, but I have a replacement I picked up for cheap a few years back. Thanks for the video. I have a friend that is doing this swap because he keeps tearing out automatic transmissions with the Cummins ad 800 hp. In a 3/4 ton 4x4 dodge. The rating on NVs are well below that much power, but he's determined to try one.
I bet since that’s a old dodge dually. It was probably a farm truck and those needles are for giving shots to animals. There are dozens of those things all over all of my trucks. Especially since there was more then one size of needle.
Yep you may be right....definitely a farm truck...pulled many corn stalk chunks out from under it
Deboss sent me
Glad to have you along Harley!!
If it is a farm truck the needle is from giving shots to young calves.
I believe you are correct
Cattle med needle
YES!!!! You are most likely right...good call
Thats not an addict, nkr a diabetic. Those are for animals, most likely cattle. But could be for dogs, or anytjing in between.
Vacxinations to deworming they are commom around farming.
Yes, I believe you are correct - From where I came from there were no farm animals so it was my first thought - but, yep...I agree 100% with you
Lmfao those needles are for cattle
I'd have to agree with that
